- An app addition appears in the brand’s activity.
- Open the current stack and inspect the storefront.
- Decide whether the change improves our product fit.

How do I monitor Shopify target accounts every week?
Track the brands you want to work in Shoplist, then set Market moves to Weekly in notification settings. Review the observed app-stack changes alongside your account notes, inspect the current brand record and choose a next action. Use the same short review template each week to keep the watchlist useful.

Track the accounts you intend to work.
Start with a qualified list from competitor or complementary-app research. Give each account a purpose: an integration opportunity, a credible switching offer or a merchant workflow your product serves well.
Tracking and list membership do different jobs. Keep the saved list for account selection and track individual brands whose changes you want to monitor. Your plan sets tracking allowances; the product shows the available limit.
Set the weekly rhythm.
Brand app-stack additions and removals belong to Market moves. Use the same topic for the watchlist so the incoming changes fit a repeatable review.
Track the priority brands.
Open the brand’s detail page and select Track. Confirm the control changes to Tracking. Manage the tracked set from Tracking in Shoplist. First Look uses the equivalent Follow control.
Choose the delivery cadence.
Open Settings → Notifications. In Topics, set Market moves to Weekly for Email or Slack. For email delivery, turn Email on in Channels. Slack also needs a connected workspace and destination.
Save the review time.
Under Daily brief time, set Brief time and Timezone, then choose Save changes. Weekly topics use Monday at that selected hour. Check Quiet hours + pause all when delivery is paused.
Run the account review.
Open each relevant change in Unified Inbox, inspect the brand’s current record and compare it with your account notes. Record the observation, its relevance and one next action.
Make a change useful before you act on it.
A stack change earns attention when it changes your account decision. An added complementary app can strengthen the integration story. A removed competitor footprint can prompt a fresh look at the storefront and the merchant’s current setup.
The observation date belongs beside the change. Decide whether to research, demonstrate, revisit later or remove the account from active work. A quiet week can be a completed review: weekly briefs skip empty deliveries.

Frequently asked questions
Does tracking a brand automatically track its apps?
Track the entities you want to monitor directly. A tracked brand’s stack changes use Market moves. Track a competing app separately when you also want its listing updates and market activity.
Does Weekly mean a new scan happens every Monday?
Weekly is the notification cadence. The changes reflect observations collected by Shoplist’s data pipeline. Use the observation dates in the record to understand when the app activity was detected.
Can the watchlist create a sales message for me?
This recipe gives you a repeatable research review and an account action. Use the evidence-led account brief to turn the selected observation into a relevant discovery question and demonstration.
