Stack Up counts every app Shopify stores add from November 1 through Cyber Monday. The first full day lands with Monday’s nightly refresh, and the board updates every day after that.
Methodology
How the Pulse counts

What counts
A store add is a store Shoplist had already crawled that started running an app, or came back to it. A store crawled for the first time, or an app Shoplist newly learned to detect, never counts. Shopify’s own apps are left out.
Lag
Each day is counted the next morning (10:00 UTC), and stores are recrawled every 28 to 48 hours, so the newest two days keep filling in. Days with a crawl-coverage drop or an open spike review are left out.
Categories
Each app counts in one Shopify App Store category, the one its listing belongs to.
Filters
Big brands are stores with $5M or more in annual revenue or 50k Instagram followers. Countries come from the brand’s primary country.
