About TermGuard ‑ Terms & Conditions

TermGuard adds a customizable terms and conditions checkbox to your cart, product, and checkout page

Many merchants are required to get a customer's agreement to their store's terms and conditions before completing a purchase, but Shopify does not include a built-in way to enforce this at checkout. TermGuard adds a terms and conditions checkbox that merchants can place on the cart page, product pages, collection pages, or anywhere a checkout button appears on the storefront. When a customer tries to check out without accepting the terms, TermGuard blocks the action and shows an error message,

Listing highlights

  • Block checkout until customers accept your terms and conditions
  • Show the checkbox on cart, product, collection, or checkout pages
  • 5. Set up without editing any theme code

Methodology

How to read these signals

Counts are based on Shoplist's latest available public crawl signal dated July 9, 2026.

Shoplist has not yet found reliable public storefront evidence connecting a Shopify store to this app. This does not mean the app has no users. Some apps are new, admin-only, server-side, theme-independent, or otherwise difficult to detect from public storefront signals.

Merchant rows are filtered to public brand profiles with enough public data to link safely. Full workflow, filtering, and monitoring stay behind signup.

Review, pricing, feature, screenshot, and listing-change data come from public Shopify App Store and Shoplist crawl records. Signals can change between crawls.
