About TagGuard: Script Tag Auditor

Audit storefront + theme scripts before 2027. See app-injected tags and app embeds.

Shopify's ScriptTag API only exposes your app's own tags, so no third-party app can list every tag through it. TagGuard reads your live storefront HTML, theme liquid files, and app embed switches: it finds tags injected by other apps, hard-coded theme scripts, and app embeds that are ON or OFF. It maps vendors (86 mappings) and suggests web pixel, app embed, or cleanup, with vendor emails and a CI-friendly CLI. Read-only. Password/bot-protected stores may need a manual check.

  • Merchant rows are filtered to public brand profiles with enough public data to link safely. Full workflow, filtering, and monitoring stay behind signup.
  • Review, pricing, feature, screenshot, and listing-change data come from public Shopify App Store and Shoplist crawl records. Signals can change between crawls.
