Each swatch selects your theme's own variant picker, so the image, stock, URL and Add to cart all update the way your theme does — tested on Horizon and Dawn. Colours come from Shopify's option swatches, your colour list or 280+ built-in names; a product check shows what's left. Add swatches to product cards with image preview, image swatches for prints, and product groups that link separate products as swatches.
