How it sells itself

Store Shutter allows you to apply a virtual shutter to your store (or parts of it) that can stop visitors placing orders when you dont want them to. Its perfect for bars, restaurants or shops that only want to take orders while they are open, and can also be used when developing or maintaining your site if you want to get your store out there but arent ready to take orders.

This app will help you open and close your business based on your working hours. The app will disable the Add to Cart and the Proceed to Checkout buttons preventing customers to place orders during certain times. You can have different times for each day of the week! It’s ideal for restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and all local stores.

Key points
  • Gives you the ability to close your store checkout while keeping the rest live
  • Start getting traffic while developing your site but stop sales
  • Specify a custom 'stored closed' page so visitors no when you will be open again
  • Set different working hours for each day of the week.
  • Disable Add to Cart and Proceed to Checkout buttons only during closed hours.
  • Display a closed banner.

How Shoplist compares apps

Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Oct 13, 2026. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads.
