How it sells itself

When a customer places another order to the same address, Shipjoin groups the orders so they leave in one parcel. The newer orders are put on hold in Shopify, so they wait to ship with the first order. Print one packing list for the whole parcel and fulfill the first order as usual: Shipjoin fulfills the others with the same tracking number.

Couriers add fees or refuse parcels that are over their weight limit, so heavy orders often have to be divided by hand. Weight Split does it for you. Set your courier's limit once. When an order is heavier, Weight Split packs its items into parcels that each fit and adds them to the order as separate fulfillments, ready for their own labels. The order, payment, sales reports and inventory are not changed.

Key points
  • Finds open orders from the same customer to the same address
  • Puts newer orders on hold so they don't ship separately by mistake
  • One packing list for the whole parcel, with total items and weight
  • Copies the tracking number to every order when the parcel ships
  • Splits new orders over your weight limit automatically as they come in
  • Packs the heaviest items first to keep the number of parcels low
  • See every order over the limit and split any of them with one click
  • Leaves the order, payment, revenue and inventory exactly as they were
