How it sells itself

When something sells at the counter, someone has to notice the shelf is emptier and bring more from the stockroom. ShelfSprint does the noticing. Set shelf minimums yourself, have them suggested from your sales, or let each location keep its own current. Below its minimum, a product joins a refill list on the POS, with the bin and how many to bring.

Trueshelf lists the products and inventory that do not add up. It changes nothing; you decide what to fix. It finds negative quantities, locations where on hand does not equal available + committed + unusable, items set to keep selling at zero, and an empty location while another holds the stock. Not a low-stock alert: it checks that your records agree with themselves.

Key points
  • Turn POS sales into refill work automatically
  • Set a minimum, target and maximum for every shelf
  • Pull lists ordered by your own stockroom bin sequence
  • One shared run, so two staff cannot fill a shelf twice
  • Finds negative stock and quantities that do not add up at each location
  • Flags items still set to sell at zero, before they turn into oversold orders
  • Read-only: never changes your store and never reads orders or customers

How Shoplist compares apps

Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Oct 28, 2026 for ShelfSprint, Nov 3, 2026 for Trueshelf. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads.
