How it sells itself

Settled helps merchants understand their payouts without accounting software. See your next payout date and expected amount, and get flagged the moment funds are held for a reserve or a dispute. Open any payout to see sales, fees, refunds, adjustments and reserves line by line, matched to the orders behind them. Add PayPal or Stripe CSV files for a fuller picture, then export a file for your bookkeeper.

Shopify tells you what should be in the drawer. Tillwise tells you what actually happened. At the till: blind denomination counts, so the expected total stays hidden until staff submit and counting never turns into confirming. Drops, payouts, paid-ins and no-sale opens are logged behind an optional manager PIN. In the admin: variance by shift, register, location and staff.

Key points
  • Next payout date and expected amount, with holds and reserves flagged
  • Every payout broken down into sales, fees, refunds and reserves, line by line
  • Weekly digest email, plus instant email or Discord alerts when funds are held
  • Reconcile PayPal and Stripe CSV files next to your store payouts
  • Blind counts keep the expected total hidden until staff submit their own
  • Variance broken out by shift, register, location, and staff member
  • Denomination count sheets, not a single typed total from the cashier
  • Optional manager PIN on no-sale drawer opens and on closing a shift

How Shoplist compares apps

Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Nov 3, 2026 for Settled Payouts, Oct 13, 2026 for Tillwise. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads.
