How it sells itself

OpenProfit calculates net profit by pulling in COGS, shipping costs, transaction fees, and Shopify fees for every order. See which products make money and which eat into your margins. The app syncs orders and products from Shopify with no manual data entry. Set COGS per product using Shopify metafields, CSV upload, or manual entry. Products are graded using ABC analysis.

Most store owners track revenue but not true profit. ProfitPulse solves this by combining order data with every cost that eats into your margins: cost of goods, shipping, transaction fees, ad spend, and operating expenses. You see exactly which products, channels, and customers are profitable and which are losing money. Costs sync automatically from Shopify and your ad platforms, or you can import them via CSV.

Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Oct 13, 2026 for OpenProfit, Oct 14, 2026 for ProfitPulse. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads.
