How it sells itself

Our app allows merchants to combine and synchronize inventory across multiple product variants, helping manage stock more efficiently. Instead of tracking inventory separately for each variant, merchants can group selected variants to share the same stock quantity. This is especially useful for products that represent the same physical inventory but are sold under different options or listings.

You already created a pack in Shopify. Shared Stock Sync does not create packs. It keeps pack stock honest so you do not oversell kits. With 6 blue tees and 10 pink tees, a pack of one each can sell 6 times. A blue tee sale drops pack stock to 5. A pack sale deducts one of each. Link the pack to each product and quantity needed. Stock updates when inventory changes or a pack sells.

Key points
  • Create groups of multiple variants that share a common inventory stock
  • Set different stock reduction values for each variant based on inventory usage
  • Automatically mark linked variants as sold out when shared stock reaches zero
  • Pack stock matches how many complete kits you can still make.
  • When a pack sells, the products in the kit are deducted.
  • When a product sells on its own, pack stock updates immediately.
  • See calculated pack stock and whether sync is up to date.
