Order Validator checks every new order against rules you create and takes action before fulfillment begins. Build rules using AND/OR conditions based on order total, customer email, shipping address, products, tags, discount codes, payment method, and more. Compare orders against recent activity to identify potential duplicates.

Some orders shouldn't ship yet: pre-orders, made-to-order items, or products from a supplier who hasn't delivered. Hold Rules places a Shopify fulfillment hold on new orders that match your rules: a product tag, vendor, product type or the start of a SKU. Hold the whole order or only the matching items, so the rest can ship. Each hold shows your reason and note in Shopify.
