How it sells itself

Halt is a discount blocker with a pause switch. Pause turns off every active code and automatic discount at once and keeps a snapshot. Resume brings back exactly what you paused, with the original end dates, now or on a timer. At checkout, block every code, all except a list, or just a list; allow one code per order; keep codes off sale items; or add your own rules by cart total, customer tag, product or collection.

Set checkout guardrails for promotions without editing your theme. The app rejects eligible conflicting discount codes and blocks checkout when final line amounts violate a published rule. Create storewide or targeted safeguards, set minimum final amounts or maximum markdown percentages, protect sale items from additional discounts, add country and buyer exemptions, and preview outcomes in the simulator.

Key points
  • Pause all discounts in one click and resume the exact same set later
  • Reject discount codes at checkout: all, all except, or only a list
  • One code per order, sale-item lock, and custom rules by cart or customer
  • Add up to 100,000 unique codes to any discount with prefix and suffix
  • Block discounts that push final prices below a set floor
  • Cap total markdowns with maximum discount percentages
  • Protect sale items from additional discount stacking
  • Target rules by product, variant, collection, country, or buyer

How Shoplist compares apps

Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Oct 17, 2026 for Halt, Oct 29, 2026 for HBN. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads.
