How it sells itself

Going away, closing for a holiday or keeping Shabbat? Gone Fishing pauses orders on the dates you choose and reopens on its own. Shoppers can still browse, and a banner tells them when you're back. Checkout is refused on every path, including Shop Pay and direct checkout links, so no order slips through while you're away. Pro adds weekly closures, such as Friday evening to Saturday night, or all day Sunday.

Openly shows your opening hours on your store: a live “Open now · closes 5:00 PM” bar, a floating badge with the week, and an hours block for any page. Set breaks, late nights past midnight, closed days and holidays, and close early with one click and a note. Turn on Pause orders and Add to cart and checkout stop while you’re closed, including Buy it now and Shop Pay.

Key points
  • Schedule a closure by date range; banner and checkout block switch on and off
  • Shoppers keep browsing while closed, so ad and search traffic isn't wasted
  • Checkout stays blocked on Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Buy it now, and direct links
  • Non-dismissable banner with your own message and reopen date
  • Live open or closed status bar and badge, in your store’s time zone
  • Weekly hours with breaks, late nights past midnight and closed days
  • Holidays and special dates that replace the usual week automatically
  • Close now with one click and a note shoppers see, then reopen
