How it sells itself

Collect the customer information checkout does not give you. Build profile forms with text, dropdown, multi-choice, date, number, phone, and checkbox fields, then add them to customer account pages in a few clicks. Customers view and edit their own details in their account. Every answer is stored as a customer metafield, ready to use in segments, personalization, and Shopify Flow.

Shopify's new customer accounts don't let apps change the sign-in page. ProfileKit adds your own questions to the customer's Profile page instead, and reminds customers on their Orders page until required answers are filled in. Choose short text, long text, number, date, dropdown or checkbox fields, and make any of them required.

Key points
  • Form builder with text, dropdown, multi-choice, checkbox, date, number, phone
  • Native block in new customer accounts, shown inline or in an edit modal
  • Answers saved to customer metafields for segments, Flow, and personalization.
  • Add custom fields to the customer Profile page on new customer accounts
  • Six field types, required or optional, with help text
  • Orders page reminder until required answers are complete
  • Answers saved on the customer in your store, nothing stored elsewhere

How Shoplist compares apps

Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Nov 4, 2026 for Fieldly, Nov 3, 2026 for ProfileKit. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads.
