How it sells itself

CatalogGuardHQ snapshots your catalogue every night and on demand: products, variants, prices, inventory, images by reference, metafields, collections. When an import, app or mistake goes wrong, choose a snapshot, the products and the fields, and see every value that would change before any write. Safe mode keeps what you changed since, and names it. Nothing is ever deleted.

Bulk editing shouldn't be a leap of faith. SafeBulk shows exactly what will change before anything happens: filter products, choose edits, and review a line-by-line diff of every product and variant. Before any change is applied, SafeBulk saves a complete snapshot of the fields it will touch, so you can restore the whole job with one click. Every change is verified after it lands, and failed rows are retried.

Key points
  • Nightly and on-demand snapshots, encrypted; no customer or order data read
  • Restore by product and by field, previewed first, verified after, undoable
  • A Coverage table that states what a restore brings back and what it cannot
  • Diff preview on every job: see exactly what changes before anything runs.
  • Automatic snapshot before every job: a full before-state is always saved.
  • One-click rollback restores any job to exactly how it was, verified.
  • Post-job verification confirms every change landed, with automatic retries.

How Shoplist compares apps

Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Nov 6, 2026 for CatalogGuardHQ, Oct 14, 2026 for SafeBulk. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads.
