How it sells itself

Set order limits that Shopify checkout enforces. Add a minimum order quantity (MOQ), maximum quantity, minimum order amount or minimum cart value for any product, variant, collection or the whole cart. Apply quantity limits only to some buyers: by customer tag, B2B company, country, ZIP code or login status. Combine AND/OR conditions in one rule. Also block PO boxes and set ZIP code restrictions.

Checkout Rules stops orders you can't or won't fulfil before they're placed. Pick one of 24 templates, such as an order minimum, a quantity cap or a delivery-country list, adjust it, and test it on carts built around its own limits. Each rule reads back in plain English and runs on cart changes, at checkout or both. Shoppers who break a rule see your message and can fix their cart.

Key points
  • Block or validate orders with multiple checkout rules.
  • Display warnings and messages on product pages, cart pages, and during checkout.
  • Import & Export to move rules between stores.
  • Block carts on subtotal, quantity, SKU, product type, tags or delivery country
  • 24 ready-made templates in five categories, all adjustable before saving
  • Choose whether each rule checks cart changes, checkout, or both
  • Test on carts built around each rule's limits before shoppers see it
