How it sells itself

You buy raw materials and make your products from them. Set up fast: snap a photo of a supplier invoice, receipt, or spreadsheet and Benchtop reads your materials and costs in. It tracks what you have, warns you before you run low, and shows how many you can make right now.

MakerStocks is for merchants who manufacture what they sell. You record each raw material with what you paid, its alert threshold and expiry date, then build a recipe for every product. Planning a production run reserves the materials, so they cannot be counted twice or sold by mistake. Closing the run deducts them, creates a batch for the finished product and sends the new quantity back to your store.

Key points
  • Log production once to update materials and your store stock.
  • See your true margin on every product you make.
  • Build a recipe for each product so you know exactly what goes into it.
  • Track raw materials, what you paid, and stock levels, with low-stock alerts.
  • Track raw materials, batches and expiry dates alongside finished products
  • Build recipes and bills of materials that value every unit you make
  • Reserve materials for a production run so stock cannot be sold twice
  • Get alerted before a material drops below its threshold or expires
