How it sells itself

Perishable stock does not fail loudly. It looks fine until the day it is suddenly worthless. BatchTrack adds the missing layer. Give any product or variant an expiration date, a lot number, and a quantity. One product can hold several batches with different dates, each stored separately. The dashboard sorts every batch soonest-first (FEFO), with 7, 30, and 90-day and expired filters.

ShelfLife tracks product expiry dates for dated inventory. Keep unlimited batches and lots with variant, supplier, location, quantity, manufacture date, and expiry date. Run expiry checks, review stock at risk and waste reports, and choose opt-in email alerts and weekly digests. Use location-aware FEFO picking guidance, CSV import/export, supplier reports, and traceability records.

Key points
  • Add an expiry date, lot number, and quantity to any product
  • Track multiple batches per product, each with its own date
  • Dashboard sorts batches soonest-first with 7/30/90-day filters
  • Email alerts when stock is about to cross your expiry threshold
  • Track expiry dates by batch or lot, variant, supplier, and location
  • Flag warning, urgent, and expired stock; review waste and alerts
  • Use FEFO guidance, CSV tools, supplier reports, and traceability

How Shoplist compares apps

Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Oct 14, 2026 for BatchTrack, Sep 30, 2026 for ShelfLife. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads.
