How it sells itself

Arthena Catalog Guard monitors product, variant and inventory changes in your Shopify catalogue. It records change history, flags suspicious activity using configurable protection rules, sends email alerts for important incidents, and lets you restore supported product data to an earlier value.

StoreVault backs up products, collections, pages, blogs, navigation and themes as they change, keeping every version; inventory levels on paid plans. When an import, a bulk edit or an app goes wrong, restore one record: approve a plan listing what changes, then undo it if needed. Stored copies are re-read and compared with your store, and the result is emailed either way.

Key points
  • Detect suspicious product, variant and inventory changes
  • Restore supported catalogue values from recorded history
  • Get email alerts for important catalogue incidents
  • Restore one record after a bad edit, without touching the rest of the store
  • Approve a plan first: see exactly what will change before anything is written
  • Undo a restore: the state before every write is saved automatically
  • Emailed drills prove your backup works before you ever need it

FAQ

Arthena Catalog Guard and StoreVault: common questions

Is Arthena Catalog Guard or StoreVault cheaper?
Only StoreVault lists a free plan. Paid plans start at $9.99/month for Arthena Catalog Guard and $4.50/month for StoreVault. Shoplist compares base prices only between monthly plans in the same currency; usage charges and annual plans vary, so check each plan’s limits.
What features does each app list that the other doesn’t?
StoreVault lists 1 the others don’t mention, such as Time-based. A feature missing from a listing may still be supported; this compares what each App Store listing says.
Where does this comparison’s data come from?
Shoplist crawls Shopify storefronts to detect which apps each store runs, and reads each app’s Shopify App Store listing for reviews, pricing, features and integrations. Store counts are as of Oct 13, 2026; estimated figures are labeled.

How Shoplist compares apps

Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Oct 13, 2026. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads. Read the methodology.
