How it sells itself

Create a campaign with a rule (spend or item count, for the whole cart or chosen products, collections or tags), up to three tiers and a gift for each: one fixed gift or a choose-your-gift picker. A theme app embed adds and removes the gift as the cart changes and shows progress. The gift is discounted in full only while the cart qualifies, as a discount function checks the rule at checkout.

When the cart reaches the total you set, the gifts go in on their own. When it drops back below, they come out. Nobody checks out with a gift they did not earn, and nobody emails you about one they did. You choose the total and up to three products. Shoppers don't pick which gift they get, only whether to keep each one. Every gift is free in the cart, at checkout, and on the order, and cannot unlock itself.

Key points
  • Spend or item-count rules for the cart, products, collections or tags
  • Up to 3 tiers per campaign, each with its own gift
  • One fixed gift added automatically, or a picker so the shopper chooses
  • Gift discount applies only while the cart qualifies, checked again at checkout
  • One cart total unlocks the gift, in whatever currency the shopper sees.
  • The gift drops in at the total and comes back out if the cart shrinks.
  • Any product or variant in your catalog can be the gift.
  • You write the line shoppers read on the gift, up to 120 characters.
