How it sells itself

Track a product where you keep it, then add its lots: a code, a best-before date and the units in it. When stock goes down, the app takes the units from the lot that should leave first (earliest expiry or oldest received). A dashboard lists expired and soon-to-expire lots, with an optional daily email.

Perishable stock does not fail loudly. It looks fine until the day it is suddenly worthless. BatchTrack adds the missing layer. Give any product or variant an expiration date, a lot number, and a quantity. One product can hold several batches with different dates, each stored separately. The dashboard sorts every batch soonest-first (FEFO), with 7, 30, and 90-day and expired filters.

Key points
  • Lots with a code, best-before date and units left, per product and location
  • FEFO or FIFO: stock decreases come from the lot that should leave first
  • Dashboard of expired and soon-to-expire lots, plus an optional daily email
  • Receive deliveries and write off expired units, each with a confirmation
  • Add an expiry date, lot number, and quantity to any product
  • Track multiple batches per product, each with its own date
  • Dashboard sorts batches soonest-first with 7/30/90-day filters
  • Email alerts when stock is about to cross your expiry threshold
