How it sells itself

How do you take wholesale applications — and approve B2B customers before they see trade prices? Native B2B is on Basic, Grow and Advanced since April 2026, but there is no front door. Anmelda adds one: buyers apply through a form on your storefront, each application is verified against the official register behind it (EU VIES, Swiss Zefix, UK Companies House), and the result is stored.

Shopify gave every store the ability to sell wholesale, but not a way for buyers to apply for an account. ApprovePilot adds the missing front door. Buyers apply on your storefront with their business details, tax ID, and resale certificates.

Key points
  • Application form as a theme block, in English, German, French and Italian
  • Checks against EU VIES, the Swiss register (Zefix) and UK Companies House
  • Creates the Shopify B2B company, contact and location when you approve
  • Approve clean applications automatically by country, or review every one
  • Storefront form: buyers apply for a wholesale account in minutes
  • Vetting: EU VAT (VIES) checks, official registry links, duplicate alerts
  • One-click setup of the B2B company, contact, location, and payment terms
  • Dry-run preview before anything is created; approve twice, never duplicated

How Shoplist compares apps

Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Oct 13, 2026 for Anmelda, Oct 14, 2026 for ApprovePilot. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads.
