See every featureAltGuard solves the tedious task of manually writing alt text for product images. Without alt text, search engines can't read your images and screen readers cannot navigate your store. AltGuard silently runs in the background. Whenever you add or update a product, our AI analyzes the images and writes accurate alt text. You can also run bulk backfills to update your entire catalog in minutes.
Many merchants struggle to add alt text to hundreds or thousands of product images manually. This time-consuming task is essential for accessibility compliance and search engine optimization, but it often gets overlooked or delayed.

How Shoplist compares apps
Store counts come from Shoplist’s crawl of Shopify storefronts, which detects the apps each store runs; they are as of Oct 13, 2026. Reviews, ratings, plans, features and integrations come from each app’s Shopify App Store listing. 28-day figures are labeled when estimated, and a figure that is missing or estimated never decides who leads.
