See every featureAddress Shield is an address validation app. It checks the delivery address at checkout and asks your customer to fix anything wrong before it reaches you. Validation runs inside Shopify's checkout, so addresses are never sent to our servers, never stored and never shared. We never rewrite an address, because auto-correction can turn a correct address into a wrong one.
Express wallets — Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay — skip your address form, so orders arrive with a street but no house number, or no postal code at all, and the delivery fails. A missing house number only produces a warning at checkout, which the buyer can ignore. This app turns it into a block: checkout cannot be completed until the address is fixed, wallets included.
