How it sells itself

AddOnce lets merchants present optional products and services directly on the product page. Create a Companion Product once, then attach it to any product where it belongs. Because AddOnce uses native products, inventory, variants, and fulfillment continue to work as expected. Customers choose optional add-ons before adding to cart, and each item is added as its own native cart line.

Some add-ons aren't optional. Reqmunk requires a companion product — laces with shoes, a warranty with electronics, an install kit with a rack — before the trigger product can be bought. Target products, tags, or whole collections, and write the message shoppers see. The product page gates Add to cart until the shopper picks the companion, then adds both together.

Key points
  • Add optional add-ons with native Shopify products
  • Create once. Attach to unlimited products.
  • Customers add each selection as independent Shopify cart lines
  • Automatically supports single- and multi-variant companion products
  • Gate add-to-cart until the shopper picks the required companion product
  • Checkout validation blocks carts that drop the required add-on
  • Trigger by product or collection; write the message shoppers see
  • Selector card shows thumbnail, variant prices, and a running total
