Shopupup

I selected this partner through the official Shopify Partner Directory for a store build project. This has turned into an absolute nightmare for our business. The developer engaged in extremely unethical business practices: they severely delayed the project, delivered only half of the work, and pressured us into paying the remaining balance before completion. The moment the final payment was transferred, they completely vanished and ignored all forms of communication. More alarmingly, this is not just a breach of contract—it is a severe cybersecurity threat. After they went missing, Shopify Technical Support intervened to audit our backend and officially identified a malicious redirect script that this developer had secretly injected into our theme files. Shopify Support has already assisted us in removing this harmful script, and a formal violation report has been submitted to the Partner Governance team. Allowing a developer who performs backdoor attacks on their own clients to remain in this directory puts the entire merchant community at serious risk. Do not give this individual access to your store under any circumstances.
