I first got the app and thought, "this is good." Because it was. BUT, stop taking my money bro. It makes it hard enough running a business with only so little cash. I can't burn It on a loyalty program. I would appreciate either lowering your costs or giving more benefits to people. But all in all not bad. Thank you for your review and feedback. We've been using Smile for years, and it just gets better and better. I recently had an issue with customer logins after we switched to Shopify's new customer accounts, and a Smile rep, Shelby, responded quickly and explained how to fix it. She followed up later in the day to make sure the problem was resolved, which I really appreciated. Thank you for your review - we really appreciate it!

I wanted to test it out, but it was a little more complex than my website required, so I uninstalled it (within minutes), not knowing I had already been charged. I contacted the team, who explained that while the charges are non-refundable, they'd make a one-time exception for me. As a small business owner, every penny counts, so I appreciate this. I have only just started using the app but so far I have had good feedback (have not announced my rewards program widely altough it is active on my site.) Customer service has been fast and very good so far. Really happy I went with Smile instead of a more expensive app, it has everything I need at this early stage.

It would be nice to have more option on nudges for customers to redeem points at checkout without having to upgrade plans. Thank you for your review and feedback. I believe one of our support team members has reached out to address this.

Unacceptable Customer Service and Unfair Subscription Policy I am extremely disappointed with the customer service provided by this company. They offer only chat and email support, both of which take hours to receive a response—completely unacceptable for a paid service. What’s even more frustrating is their unfair subscription policy. I paid $50 for a monthly subscription, and after realizing the app didn’t meet my expectations, I canceled the subscription within an hour to avoid being charged for the next cycle. To my surprise, all the paid features were immediately revoked, and I was denied access to the app for the remaining 29 days—despite having already paid for the full month! To make matters worse, Shelby, who appears to be in customer service, seems completely uninterested in providing any real assistance. Why have someone in customer service if they are not willing to do their job? Her lack of concern and unwillingness to help only adds to the frustration of dealing with this company. This practice is unacceptable and misleading. I PAID FOR THE MONTH and should be entitled to use the service for the entire duration, regardless of when I choose to cancel. I expect a resolution to this issue immediately. Thank you for your feedback here. Overall I really like the app and the staff are very responsive by email and even jumped on a 30min call to explain some things. It has taken us sometime to understand everything this app can do. The rewards are very straight forward and work well. We are just implementing the VIP system which has a slight limitation for us. We are a winery and want to limit the VIP section to our members but I don't think we are able to do that. Our customers are happily using their rewards! Amazing loyalty program. We switched because of rampant code leaks and saw immediate savings due to fewer discounts. I recommend this app (if you have the budget).
