So far so good. Have been using the app for about 3 months now, seems to be working well. Quite a few people have signed up and even one coupon was sent out (and redeemed almost immediately!). Easy to set up and appears to be easy for customers to use. Would definitely recommend for anyone using shopify that wants an easy way to encourage accounts, reviews and social shares...and reward loyal customers.

Great support. Haven't started using it yet, but look forward to it helping acquire customers.

Had an issue with my rewards pulling up on my POS. Customer support (Maggie) took care of me and I couldn’t be happier!

THIS APP DOES NOT WORK FOR IN-STORE REDEMPTIONS. If you are a Shopify store owner and want to find an omni-channel solution for loyalty points, do NOT use Smile. It's become a huge hassle for our team as the customer points show up as "error" when trying to redeem.

This app is so helpful. Fulfilling a much needed gap in the points/rewards sector. It has all of the functionality necessary and is completely free until it reaches a point where the value it provides warrants payment. I believe this product deserves 5 stars. It's free. It seriously cannot get any better for being a fully integrated, customizable, and easy to use platform. GET THIS APP, YOUR CUSTOMERS WILL THANK YOU.

This is a scam. The app claims that it will reward your customers for sharing your shop on Facebook and Twitter. However the app does not track any sharing and just gives free points to customers for NOTHING. I reached out to their support team and they do not respond. Business relationship is all about trust and if they are able to be misleading on such important information then from my point of view they cannot be trusted. I am sorry but goodbye Smile.

This is a very nice app for creating a rewards system for your store. It not only helps capture emails for your marketing campaign, but also rewards people for referring others, sharing to social media, and spending money on your account. Even on the free account, I had almost 100% manipulation of the program. Some features in the customization I would have liked to have access to as a free subscriber (hence why the 4 star). I look forward to the day when I reach 2000 members and have to upgrade!

It's a very slick program, but definitely not right for my clientele. It was expensive (due to large customer database I had to be on the $600 plan) and I suspect it really is much more useful to people who are heavy on the email marketing (I'm not). I sell medical products and I think my customers saw it as too gimmicky. I have a high percentage of mobile sales and the widget was always in the way - a real problem on small screens. I reached out to my entire mailing list for feedback to see if they cared whether I kept it or not, and the only people that replied said to ditch it, that they had too many point programs to keep track of anyway. They found it too complicated to use. - I probably would have been more motivated to keep it if I could have had more options in terms of custom defined actions for point awards (beyond the fb/tw shares/likes).

Easy to use and runs in the background seamlessly. No complaints from customers.

Have started setting up this app and it's been so easy to integrate and customise, had a few questions regarding setting up different things and the support staff have been so helpful! I've dealt with Maggie a couple of times now and she's always super pleasant, helpful, fast to respond and shown me exactly what I'm looking for. Can also highly recommend their resource centre and reading through their ebooks on how to build successful rewards strategy, it's been very useful!

it's a great little app, the free option is great for stores that are still in the startup phase. rewards programs are fully customisable, and the customer service is terrific. staff helped me make a simple customisation of the code so that I could remain fully GDPR compliant too (I'm not exactly an expert at code), so I can't say enough good about Smile.io if you want happy customers cheerfully purchasing more and referring more traffic to your site so they can earn rewards, then this app will do the trick top stuff
