I expected more for this app. Somewhere along the line, i stopped getting notifications that there are new messages, and there were so many msgs just left there unanswered. It's so easy to not see the small grey numbers at the side of your screen! Very bad for business, i must have lost some sales just because of this app. Not to mention some replies won't go through at all.

I want to first say I am really appreciative to Shopify for putting out this app. I dont have a phone center, cant carry a phone with me everywhere, but people are finding this way easier to use than trying to email me or text me. We did have to put in the welcoming statement in the chat box that if we dont answer that their reply would be emailed or they could request a phone call, which seems to be working. But like other people, I am having buggy issues, like getting a notification that I have a message but then I cant access it, or when people jump pages in the shop, it disconnects. So for now its a 3 star, because I really like and appreciate the app but PLEASE FIX THE BUGS! Thank you!

I like the idea, to get everything into the backend of the webshop, but it lacks a few things. I does not pull old messages in from messenger only new, and not new messages written from outside inbox, this means that if you have made contact with a customer for a competetion etc, you cannot see the conversation in inbox, before the customer answers :-(. Alså more providers like zendesk, freshworks and soho, could be nice to be integrated into this, or maybe even go all the way, and let the system handle a custom email address, so that all written customer service could be handled in this system. It does not seem like the integration part has been delt with since the start of this project. An email channel with custom email, would solve quite a bit..

Works very well for instant messages. If we are not online, we receive the message and customer data on the inbox app or Shopify, and we can reply later. The only "bad" is I cannot personalize the chat button text, which is not right for my brand voice. But I love it.

We have seen an increase in sales from using Inbox to chat with customers with questions about specific products. The FAQ auto response is awesome and saves us a ton of time answering repeat questions. I really like that if we don't get back to a customer right away with their answer, our responses are sent to them via email. Great add on.
