I just got Product Options and love all the flexibility it allows in my store. But what really impressed me is the customer support. I tried to do the install myself but must've made a mistake somewhere because it wasn't working when I got done. So I elected to have the Bold team check and correct my install which they did within a day! A secondly, I wasn't happy with how the page looked once it was done so I asked if there was a way to adjust the code and they did it immediately at no additional charge. This is some of the best support I've ever had on a third party app! Great job and thanks for an awesome app.

I would give 10 STARS to M-C, a member of the customer support team, who went so far above and beyond to help me. She never got annoyed by my questions, and after waiting FOREVER to get help from the app support, she figured it out for me. THANK YOU!!! I would give 3 starts to this app in general.... If it weren't for M-C I wouldn't be able to use it. We paid for the installation, and it had extraneous code in both customer email notifications and Order Invoices, as well as the checkout. M-C fixed all three issues (THANK YOU).... and to my knowledge no one else on the support team has yet to address it app-wide. The app has so much potential. It is really really great. I just wish that the team would take these design issues seriously. They relate to User Experience. No matter how cool the app is functionally, all a customer will see is "why is there extra code on my page" and they won't appreciate the function. I look forward to the team polishing and finishing this app, updating it, and I really hope they give M-C a raise!!!!!

This is a great product and works as advertised. I am very satisfied with the support that I've received from BOLD customer service and technical support. They are very responsive and work to quickly resolve any issues.

It didn't work out for me. There was so many steps to do, I was about to give up halfway because there things that are different than what they instructs, names that are different on my liquid. I feel like I already messing it up but decided to work through it and maybe it was just me freaking out because I don't have any experience in html. In the end, I found out i did butchered it, all that hard work and I its messed up. I was frustrated in the end. I am not paying 40 dollars for someone to do it especially when I am still paying them monthly for it. I am removing the app and finding something else. Thanks anyway

We needed a solution that would allow our customers to customize some products. We also needed to increment the pricing when customization was selected, and hide the customization fields if customization wasn't selected. This is the ONLY solution in the store that met all of our needs! In case you're looking at other options, let me save you some time. I first tried adding line item properties myself but after a couple days wrestling with the code I concluded my time was too valuable. Next I explored some of the cheaper store apps for adding custom fields to a product. It took a while to integrate an alternative app with our skin and it was only after I was done that I realized that the app wouldn't impact the products price. In fact, while some of the other custom option apps support conditional relationship for option visibility, this is the only app that will also impact product pricing. The Bold team offered to install this app for a nominal fee and while they promise a 2 day turn around I was up and running the very next morning. App does just what we needed, and the simplified variant management is a wonderful bonus. Highly recommend.

Our store http://www.autotruckdepot.ca carries many items that are specific to each vehicle type and we were looking for a solution to enable a conditional logic drop down menu to make choosing the right products easier for customers. This is the only app that does just that, and dealing with the Bold team was a pleasure. They replied quickly to my inquiries, and helped me get set up quickly and easily. I would recommend any app by Bold.

I have had this app for a while now and it really does do what it says on the tin, any problems have been sorted out quickly by the friendly and happy to help support team.

Great app, easy to use and a great complement to simplify the process of adding variations to a product.

The frustrations with this app are endless. My only reason to use this app is because Shopify has not better implementations than them. This is how most Bold apps are going to work (I purchased Bold Up-sells and Bold Prod. Customization). You are going to install the app, and then if you are a developer yourself, you are ok, you can implement the code by yourself... but most people here are not developers, so you are going to pay them to implement the code on the page... then it's going to take forever to get installed, depending on the theme you have... DO NOT EXPECT CUSTOMER SUPPORT AT ALL. They don't answer the phone, and they answer emails usually within 48 hours later. Oh! one more... if you want a customization for something their app breaks, this is the answer you will get: "We charge $900 USD to make the necessary customizations to your theme for this. We could start in the second week of October and it will take a little less than a day to complete. :)" Today it is September 23rd. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Great app! Love the organization. There is a fair amount of work to install (with the Liquid files) but the tutorial is fantastic. Some Shopify templates use Ajax, and this must be disabled in order for the file upload feature to work. I don't know how to do this, so I contacted Bold support. In exactly 7 minutes, Bold adjusted my website and had it uploading images perfectly, just as advertised. This is a fantastic app and they have great support! Although, a tutorial for disabling Ajax would be appreciated!

I like the App! It took a little while to get the hang of it but now pretty easy! I do recommend having them do the initial installing for $40 - I did it myself but I'm a tech-idiot - powered through but it took me HOURS!

This app did take a couple of days to perfect (appearance wise) on my website. It wasn't something I could fix myself so I did have to wait on support to get me through some minor appearance issues. But the support team was quick to get back with me and they fixed my problems right away. I do recommend this app, but just be prepared to possibly need some support with certain themes. Until now, I can finally offer my customers an "add a chain" option directly on each product page instead of having to create numerous variants by including different length chains in the prices in the main drop down menu. Much easier for my customers! And a great opportunity to upset to your customers!

The product option app is great. Once installed it runs fairly seamlessly. Allowing our customers to have multiple options above and beyond Shopify's limits is key to our business, and this gets the job done.

We have just started to use bold product options for all our personalised gifts and event decor. A few problems at the start but bold sorted this out straight away. Looking forward to using this option on the rest of our products soon. We now have all the customisation possibilities that we need. The installation is tricky as we started it off ourselves but had to get the pros to do it for us in the end. But well worth the fee. Overall, a decent app for anyone that wants the flexibility of personalisation for their products and easy to use once you get started. So 5* from us!

We haven't done a ton of work with this app yet, but so far it's the only thing that has provided a simple and accurate way to solve a problem we had been having for a while. The monthly price tag is a bit tough to swallow, but I'm hoping that it proves itself worthwhile in the long run. We tried to do the liquid set-up ourselves, but got stuck toward the end. We opted to have one of their team members install it for us. They were quick, courteous, and offered further help if we need it. Great customer service! I would definitely recommend this app, as well as the team behind it!

Really like this app ... makes life for a single owner-operator with a small budget much easier, as I don't have to invest in higher, deep technology platforms in order to get the options I need to sell my dog collars! Grand job.

Bold apps has ALMOST knocked this category out of the park on this one. I love the conditional logic, and the fact that each option can manipulate the price (though in a bit of a roundabout way) of the product. However, I would like to see them implement a more intuitive and rapid means of entering options without using the mouse to confirm each entry. This is exceptionally tedious and makes an otherwise wonderful experience, into something that I am not all that stoked about doing in some cases. I know I am splitting hairs, but the average shopify store owner is a busy-as-hell person, I'd like to see that taken into account. Oh yeah, and the install process is a nightmare, and easy to screw up if youre not careful or knowledgable - I refuse to pay the fee for professional install,, but I messed up somewhere and screwed up my cart's remove button. MY FAULT, but still, another slight inconvenience. Overall, this app is by far the best option for creating complex - conditional logic based options menus. I spent a long time tryng to find the right solution for my custom decal/t-shirt/apparel shop, and this is finally it. THANKS BOLD APPS. Make the few improvements I mentioned and you will become legends in my book!!!

Great App for adding options and alternatives to your product. One great advantage is the flexibility in being able to select which products you want to alter. Easy to set up and easy to follow instructions.... Excellent...!!

After a quick and easy installation by the Bold team (Thanks, Noah!), I jumped in and was able to add the options I wanted within a few minutes. The app is very intuitive and the process of adding options to individual products or an entire collection is ridiculously simple. I'll be ditching the stock variants to use conditional logic options in this app soon. If you're on the fence or shopping around, don't waste any more time. -Grant

We have been using the app for a while now and it has been working as advertised. Installation can be a bit of challenge for those not familiar with coding, however, Bold will have their experts install the necessary coding, for a small one-time fee, which is a fantastic safety net option... All in all, we are pleased with the app and would recommend it to other Shopify owners looking to add that personal touch to their store!
