So far I love the app. There is a bit of a learning curve and implementation took longer that what was promised but it's helped out my store tremendously! I used another customization app but they didn't offer everything I needed. I do recommend this.

Exactly what I needed for a new mailbox with twelve color options for the outer shell and door (144 variants)! Very easy to use and efficient. I'm going to use it with my curbside mailbox to make the post and numbers product options. Should help drive sales! Awesome customer service too. Very satisfied!

Firstly, excellent support. I had some issues with pre-selecting radio buttons in order to activate the conditional logic immediately upon loading of the page. Solved by excellent support from the app developers. Secondly, clean interface with good customization options. If you need to have options to specific products, this is probably the best app out there for this purpose. Good job guys. Keep up the good work.

Desperately needed an app like this one to help offer additional options just not possible through Shopify directly. Ben from Bold was awesome in helping us get this installed and setup with a few custom tweaks. Great service & product! Well worth the money and install!

Great App. Plenty of options and very slick.

This app is awesome! We are able to create custom fields for a client who is doing customized pet memorials. We had a problem getting the Shopify variants moved above the Product Options custom fields, and Tamer was able to log in to our store and fix the problem for us. The support on this app is outstanding -- they have gotten back to me within 48 hours of contacting them with a problem. We will definitely use this app again!

We have a basic website and our items were only allowed 1 option such as color. We needed the ability for our customers to add more than one color to their items plus other options. This App was recommended to give us the ability to create numerous options for each item and It's only $10 per month versus a website upgrade that would have been $179 per month. We've already had reviews from our customers at www.jbsoutdoorsupply.com and they have stated ordering from us is MUCH easier now! Also it's very easy to create and attach the options to our items!

UPDATE 11/2/15: We responded to the Bold Apps ticket, and also reached out to Shopify for help, who also lodged a ticket on 10/31/15. We received a brief, 2 sentence email from Jay Meyers, who said he would see if someone could work on this over the weekend. We are still waiting. No other follow-up on anything yet. No update, no response, no nothing. ******************** UPDATE 10/31/15: We originally paid Bold Apps to install the Product Options App in August 2015. It is now the beginning of November, and we are still having issues, to the point it does not function well enough to use. We've had to go back several times due to issues; clearly the team does not QC test its work. After contacting them last week about yet another issue, we received this note from "Holly": "Our Product Options app does not work well with that cart that slides from the side of the page on desktop which is why it looks like that. I would suggest disabling the slide cart in your Shopify theme. First, why did you not explain this back in August when we initially paid you to install the app? As many times as your team has worked on this, did it not ever test the installation and notice the issue? (Note: this is the same issue with the code appearing in the checkout, which we initially emailed about, and which is described below in the first review we left. The cart issue was fixed, but the solution for the issue was not followed through to the notifications, which seems like a no-brainer.) Where is any communication regarding the same issue around the mobile display, and the corrections needed to make that work - the other issue mentioned in my support ticket - in the response I received? Why is this our problem, if we paid you to do the installation? Beyond frustrating - find another company if you can, because you cannot count on the level of customer service from this team - even after you email the founder. **** ORIGINAL REVIEW from 8/24/15 **** This app would be great, but we're having trouble getting the app installed. We paid for installation, but it does not work properly. 1) The old app code was not removed as promised; 2) There is extraneous code appearing in sections of the site, including the shopping cart and checkout. We emailed Jay Meyers and have had a support thread since our initial inquiry which we responded to -- asking for some updates and if they could also help with our CSS -- the only response we received in 2+ days is a note they merged our request, which means at least 2 or 3 people read it, but couldnt be bothered to respond. If we could get some help, and the work completed as promised, I'm sure the app would be great based on what we can see so far. Best I can tell, they didnt even get my last response because when they merged the threads, they closed the wrong one -- the one with all the questions that need answered.. still.

Took a little bit of effort to get it set up but the support people really came through and this app is doing exactly what I need to do - give customers an experience that very few others in my niche can provide: custom baby gift baskets.

Installation is a nightmare. Don't recommend!!!!! Cancelled Everything and will go else where. Tried to contact customer service for over two months with no response.

I'm forced to downgrade my rating of this app from 4 stars to 2 stars. Initially, we were happy with its operation, but customer service is slow, simple customizations are challenging, it's buggy, and I get the sense that tech support staff is under-trained and burdened. Honestly, I think we would be better off using the product variants feature built into the Shopify admin dashboard for everything that Bold Product Options currently handles. We have already been forced to do this for some products where the Bold app can't accomodate our needs, which are pretty normal and reasonable for an e-commerce website. I think the app has potential, but unfortunately, it is not well supported considering that Bold is charing a monthly service fee for its use.

Hey guys, big thanks you to Holly and Derek for helping getting this app coded on our site. First class service from you guys. Early days for me as I'm new to Shopify but really excited by what this app can do and looking forward to getting my teeth into it.

This app is absolutely one of my favorites. All of my products are able to be personalized and some require very specific information. I would have to communicate with every single customer 1 on 1 to get the necessary information without this app. Shoppers want things to be simple and user friendly. This app allows my buyers the assurance that everything is being provided for the personalization they need for each of their products. I really do not know what I would do without Bold Apps

I installed this app initially with the basic product options and was very impressed with it. I paid to have the code implemented for me, it took a couple of days and I received a nice email confirming it had been done. My requirements grew and I upgraded to the advanced version. Again, I had the code implemented and it was quick and painless. Another nice email. From a functionality perspective, I sat through the video and refreshed my memory by watching it again a few months on. It's logical, easy to use and looks pretty good on the site too. I'm looking forward to getting my teeth into the additional functionality the advanced version offers. One thing I'm really excited about it having the ability for customers to upload an image. Can't wait for this function to go live on the site. I would definitely recommend this product.

After looking at many different options apps this one was the best fit for my store.This is the only app I found that adjust the based price when customer pick an extra option. Once I downloaded it I realized I wasn't knowledgeable enough to install it myself. I chatted with the guys at Bold and they were great, had it installed for me very fast and it's working great! Their customer service is fantastic, pleasant people to work with and willing to help. I highly recommend them. Thank you guys!

This program has been great to use. It is relatively easy to update the options feature. The only downside is we would have to get the site recoded if we changed themes.
