Reviews for Privy ‑ Pop Ups, Email, & SMS

Having some issues with branding our emails. When the app sends email confirmations and newsletters they come with the Privy brand. I believe this is not good for any business and I am surprised no one else has complained . We have been chatting to support for almost 2 days now and still not clear answer. Not very happy with this, plus a bit expensive for the service.

This app is amazing! We've been using it for about a year and are really happy with the sign ups, email functionality and marketing tools. It has more than paid for itself with sales and new conversions. The support is terrific. Highly recommend!

Their plan prices are not fair, they charge you based on your monthly views. Fuck you I deleted this app btw

The customer service and trainings are really good, but the templates and features could really use some flexibility and design upgrades. Really looking forward when the SMS marketing becomes more integrated. Great platform for simple email marketing that gets the job done.

I used this app to get sign ups for my new book. Easy and effective. Support was excellent as I asked a question and they answered back quickly.

Not bad at all. Great customer service, and it is pretty easy to use if you are looking for a simple entry into email marketing. The templates could be more creative, but i'm not complaining. I am really hoping this feature helps to grow my online business and conversions. Give it a try. I'm pretty satisfied.

!!! STAY AWAY !!! It's scam for no-brainers. Stay away!!! They give you some "free" staff, then ok, you agree to pay $30/month. You spend your time to write a letters, to design texts. After one month, they ask you $350/month because of "popup views". Really guys? They told you "write our sales to get a better pricing", they give you $100 off. They attribute orders being "because of Privy activity" but it's not. But anyway $250/month it's too much. I never write negative reviews. But I want you guys to stay away from these scammers.

So far I am still learning how and when to use the app. It's user friendly and i love that chat is available .

worst app ever, collects customers numbers but you cant text them. i want a refund. easy to set up but thats it. mail chimp is free for email.

Big fan of this app. Pop ups are very customizable. Our email capture, cross sell and exit intent pop ups are all performing well and helping drive more sales.

We are so thankful that we found Privy! This is the only Shopify app that we could find that when someone responds to a pop up and adds their email that their email directly integrates with the Shopify database. That is a bid deal! We were so happy with the Privy pop ups that we explored their email marketing and found that their unlimited email blast package was a fraction of the price we were spending on MailChimp (note - we love MailChimp, but the savings in Privy were hard to turn down and the emails look stunning!). Privy has amazing tech support. We started on the free plan and still received free tech support to get us up and running. And tech support was LIVE thru Zoom! So cool. A big shout out to Casey who helped us with our tech needs.

Great app, but can't use it as I would require currency representation to the customer to be INR not $. Will install again once this happens.

Probably my favourite app for my start-up. Efforts using Privy can be directly measured and have a notably positive impact on sales and the customer experience. We started using Privy and it TRIPLED our conversion rates. They make it easy to coordinate marketing with pop-ups and newsletters with great synergy. Customer service is responsive, fast and helpful. Easy to use templated formats. Clear metrics. Great.

They are so helpful and worth the free 30 minute review of their features, in 30 minutes they have already made me $15 and three sign ups for my newsletter! Thank you so much! I can't wait to use email marketing and see where this goes in 30 days too!
