Loads of issues setting it up and almost gave up on the whole thing. Eventually once I got it going it's good but the functionality is limited compared to using your adwords account.

We are seeing absolutely amazing results from using this app. We set it up a couple months ago and it was not performing well but with the new integration we are seeing great results.

Cannot get any products accepted by the Google Shopping app, ZERO help available. 10 day "review" period has elapsed and no products have been approved. I would not recommend this app, the process for listing on Google is very, very complicated, IMHO.

I have used better apps - the set up can be quite confusing and take some time. The shipping configuration can be confusing and you often have to add some exclusions for free shipping and / or weight based shipping and request a manual review if the site is still coming up with errors in Google Merchant Centre. With that said, once you have overcome these hurdles, Google Shopping opens up another sales avenue that not everybody has access to (due to the effort / technical knowledge it can take to get the account set up correctly).

This app is drastically flawed as is the logic behind it. I wouldn't recommend using it. Go for one of the paid apps with a good rating, it will worth every cent. We used this free app for a number of weeks and only had half of our products approved by Google because the GTIN was missing despite them being entered in Shopify. Shopify support told us to delete the MPN as this was the primary identifier the app sends to Google if both the GTIN and MPN exist. This is flawed. Google's primary identifier is the GTIN so this is the identifier that the app should be sending as the priority, not the MPN. So we switched to another app we use on another site and within hours, all of the products were approved by Google with no changes to product data whatsoever. Shopify should be way better than this and this app is damaging to the Shopify brand.

UPDATE: I just received an email from a google saying that I owe $389 for Ads that I have already uninstalled only 2 days after deactivating and uninstalling it. It’s still running in the background and I’m unaware of it! Shopify who by the way is the one responsible for making it available for its customers is now saying that uninstalling it from shopify will not deactivate the Ad. Say what? So they provide a third party app that we can’t uninstall within the admin section just like with any other apps they partner with? So now I’m screwed!! WARNING: DO NOT INSTALL AT ALL!! Free to install. Sure, just like with any other rip off marketing apps out there except Bing Ads. Ever since I uninstalled this app my store’s sales dropped tremendously to a point of 0 sales which is impossible. Not like I have Sales through their ads my sales was all from organic search and return customers. $28 sales from their ads in 2 days and $20 fees in 1 day even when I set my daily budget to $5!! I may have to hire a web tech to totally sweep my store and remove all their script and codes and make sure you do not sync your google account with any services they offered. I regret installing this app. You’ve been warned.

Pretty terrible. Bad UI, complicated where it shouldn't be(the interface, getting around, setting things up) and not complex enough where it should be ( sale settings, options, product management)

The App works as far as we can see- the main issue is with B2B as Shopify do not support B2B's showing prices ex vat. So there is a solution using Merchant centre rules. You will need to create a Rule in the Google Merchant centre. Sign into Google Merchant Centre and go to Products then Feeds and click on your feed name. At the top select Rules. Click on Create Rule and search for Price within the pop-up box and select it. Price not Sale price On the Edit Rule screen click on Conditions under Edit source. Type Price and then select the value for your Price under the Feed Attributes heading at the bottom. From the contains drop down select is greater than and then add 0 in the Type Click on the Set to box below and select your Feed- with Shopify this is an API. The next step is add a price modification and so click Add Modification. Select Advanced operators (4th box with dots) and then Calculate. From the Arithmetic operator drop drown choose Multiply By x and enter 1.2 and click on the value in the Applied Value box. Once you have done this select Save as Draft and then click Test Changes This takes between 10-20 minutes- when done Test it and you are happy with new Feed-so prices increase by 20% and all good click apply. Changes take 2 hours plus to take effect in Merchant centre-they state.

As others have said, do not install, everything is left up to google to decide and will just cost you a lot of money.

Seems to work...but it doesn't show any of the sales attributed to it in the 'Sales by Channel' on the Shopify Home page. Which is funny, because in the app it clearly tells you how much you sold using Google Shopping.

........terrible app. Couldn't even get past the first page. I dont usually review apps but my god this one was terrible.

Google expects prices inc tax, this app can't cope if your store uses tax exclusive pricing. Used to work, has been "improved" by Shopify.

By mistake I installed this app, it created a lot problems for me, it blocked another app that was performing well. And even after removing it since 3 weeks ago my products have BIG ZERO with shopping campaign i run through the original one. Big number of negative reviews and still shopify maintain it on the list. Support line and escalated team are not able to help me at all.

Get rid of this app as soon as possible. Our Adwords account never recovered when we updated this app. It didn't matter what I did to our campaigns, I couldn't get our products to consistently show up. It would even show a 'product ID' missing in our feed. Are you kidding me? This update cost us $40K a month in business. Last ditch effort was to delete the app. I installed a different Google feed app and immediately saw an improvement. Once the sync updated on Adwords our products began to show up again.

It takes way more than 3-5 days for Google to approve ads. Shopify you should take down that claim if Google wont honor it. Dont bother contacting Shopify for support they will just refer you to Google then Google will refer you back to Shopify. Also atleast for me having hard time changing to manual bidding. Automatic bidding has robbed me with no conversions.

Not sure why so many give it a poor review. With a little tweaking, to my listings all is well. Making a spreadsheet for this purpose is a nightmare.

Great idea. Very bad execution. It was not clear that starting a new Google Shopping Campaign will OVER-RIDE your existing shopping campaign. For 2 weeks our TOP performing shopping campaign was not delivering because this APP prevented it. This APP NEEDS A LOT of improvement for shopify store owners. It might be great for some that don't have the slightest clue of how to get started with Google Shopping Ads but I can tell you first hand this APP leaves a lot to be desired. For one you are unable to set any sort of Target ROAS. You are unable to run any bid adjustments on specific devices and the conversion reporting is questionable. If you want to know why this APP has ONLY 1 STAR install it and find out for your self.

I've been running Google Merchant with Shopify 2+ yrs, A-OK. Uninstalled Merchant, deleted campaign, added this app'... now regretting it. Two weeks later and I still can't get Google Merchant working. Shopify are in the throws of trying to fix, but I'm getting nowhere. Now one week before Black Friday...

I hooked up my account with no issues. The issue I am having is the products are still pending for over a week? Thats a long time to PAY for advertising. What am I paying for? Ok there is a wait for 3 to 5 business days. Its been over a week? Sorry for the impatience, but time is money. I contacted google a few times with no response.

We tried this app even with the one star reviews it received. It wouldn't connect to our Google Account.

This App has to much automation and was total waste of time trying to go through the setup to even get it up an running, so I wouldn't recommend spending any of your money utilizing this app for marketing!

This app is from Shopify! I don't understand why they make such app that is not working ?? useless App!
