Your new Google Shopping app, unlike the old one (no longer supported) has some holes in it. Products in my feed do have GTINs Error Message I'm getting is: "Barcode gtin missing: gtin is required for this product". Issues: 1. GTIN numbers are are transferred to Google Shopping campaigns 2. There is no way to enter (re-enter) GTIN in a window "Edit Google Shopping fields", GTIN field MUST be added to that window PLEASE. That field is missing. Currently Google REQUIRES BOTH: MPN number AND GTIN or a product will be rejected. Is someone still working on improvements to your Google Shopping App, or should I resort to other paid apps. I say: Do not install !!! The old app was working OK. There should be a way to choose between the two.

Great app. Amazing return for what I have invested. Don´t have to worry about which product or what bid to make for any product anymore.

I wish I could give this app less than a 1 star. You cannot use this app and use Google Shopping Express. It over writes the shipping settings to 1-99 days!!! All Shopify would do is fill out a "frustration report." That just makes the matter worse.

Created a campaign 3 days ago - Will update once I start receiving impressions/clicks. Very easy to setup!

My impressions so far is that it works well. What I especially like is that it seems to generate a lot of first time customers for me and this is really great for future sales possibilities. It was fairly easy to setup. It would be nice if there was a little easier way to edit SKU's google shopping details other than going through it one by one.

Beware the app doesnt have any option to specify if the tax / GST gets added to the product price when setting the "price" attribute in the field. Google has recently made its "price" validation mandatory to check the final check out price and is disapproving feed items and eventually suspending account because of this issue. My merchant account is now suspended because my INR based site's data feed isn't including the tax amount. The app needs fixing ASAP otherwise abstain from using this app.

We were told wait 4 weeks and once google started collecting results from traffic we would see the impressions start to increase, 6 weeks in with a commitment of $50 per day, and no results! Very poor app for Google to put their name to it, and not be hands on to fix the issues considering the power of Shopify stores. I think the number of 1 star reviews tells the story. Great app once you have it up and running. Make sure you have it selected on Product availability, UPC and SKU filled ing and your good to go.

I don't normally leave glowing app reviews, but adding this and setting it up significantly jumped my sales and conversion rate. Needs a little work in areas like the system that approves items... I use my old google ads app for that. This, however, was easy to set up... get the ad running, and get the sales going. Conversion rate went from .02%, up to about 2-2.5%! The best marketing channel I have ever used. It bring sells and shows my products next to the market leaders on Google Shopping.

I don't like the fact that the number of products is limited to 10,000. I sell tools. I have nearly triple that amount of SKU's.

I am shocked that this app has any bad reviews- it is free, gives you the ability to set up a smart shopping campaign that is also free, and generates ten times the revenue that any of the "google adwords specialists" that I paid thousands of dollars to ever did. Remarkably easy to set up, and has generated excellent sales in our first month that cost a fraction of what I was paying per conversion! Love it!

nice, use it daily, will keep using it. google is the best when it come to shopping online, so why not work with google?!

We are a doll etailer. We have two sites, one on Shopify. We have always (15 years) advertised with Google, 1st with PPC text ads, then display, then shopping and now Smart Shopping. Basically Google Shopping is a way to 'buy traffic.' It works for us really well, but I believe it's because we had so many years experience before hand. The good thing about the app is its integration with the store; it is incredibly easy to put products into the feed, easy to use analytics to see if it's working for you. The bad thing is that unless you really understand how Smart Shopping works, you can have significant negative ROI very quickly. Yes, you buy traffic, but you buy it for more than they buy from you. So our advice is use the app but: pick your best selling products only - not your whole store (do you really have to advertise red tee shirts and blue tee shirts?), go to the web and search for your products and see who is next to you in the ads and what their price is, only put into your daily and monthly 'budget' what you can afford to lose, and study your analytics carefully. Our current (Xmas 2018) ROI is $5 for every $1 spent. Our budget is $20 per day. There are days google doesn't spend our whole budget.

Tragic app, previous version was much better

Adding the Google Shopping channel has been the game changer in our business. The majority of our leads come from Google Shopping. The app is easy to use and you can add products very easily I would recommend considering Google Shopping if you are looking to bring you business to the next level.

This app has worked amazingly well for my store. Once installed it is easy to choose which products to list on shopping. I found out to optimize the SEO title which is what will show in Google. I've made over $3 for every $1 spent so far so I'm very happy. I would wish though if it was easy to see which particular products are getting the clicks so that I can optimize what products I list. I cant really tell minus what is actually selling.

Fantastic integration, simple to install. Launched shopping campaign in less than a minute and immediately saw results. In first 45 days, generated over $8K in sales on $1500 spend.

It would be nice if VAT could be configured. AFAIK is not possible to export price including VAT (required in some countries)

The app works well, but please can you get autocomplete categories in so we don't have to remember category numbers each time we add a product.
