I recently tried using Shopify Inbox, but unfortunately, my experience with the app was terrible. The app has potential to be useful for managing customer messages, but the frequent spam messages from Nigeria made it nearly impossible to use effectively. I reached out to tech support multiple times for a resolution, but was disappointed to learn that there was no solution available. The only options I was given were to uninstall the app, block the spam messages, or go to another website that's not on Shopify. In addition to the spam messages, I also noticed that the app significantly slowed down my website, which further impacted my customer experience. Overall, I cannot recommend using Shopify Inbox due to these issues. Until these problems are addressed, I would advise anyone to steer clear of this app.

I've seen a HUGE reduction in the number of customer chats since installing this app. It's because Shopify inbox FORCES the customer to enter their name and email address. This will turn off the majority of browsing customers who may just need a little advice to convert. VERY disappointing.

Below average rating. This app do not support customer chat without insert their first name last name and email. There is no option to turn off. which is not convenient for them when their just want instant message. First Reply can not insert link. That means when off hour, customer may not contact us through whatsapp. But its official i believe it works faster than competitor apps. So much spam from Egypt and Nigera. I choose to render whatsapp as Customer Service.

Good free chat. The only problem is that it doesn't support multilanguage translation. We have to choose a main language to display for all customers. Bad for international ecommerce.

So far so good on installing the app, was nice and easy. I would like the option to change it from saying 'Chat with us' to 'Chat with me' - I, like many am a one person business and would like it to be more personal by saying me rather than us. **Edit - since writing this review I'm inundated with people trying to sell services. If you're a web developer or selling services of any kind please don't use this as a way to contact me, your messages will be blocked.

Very smooth and nice chat. It shows a lot of information about the message sender on the right hand side, which is amazing. This includes whether the customer has products in their cart. Awesome! I love it!

It blocks the whole page and does not let the visitor exit. If they reload the page, it loads back up. This is a horrible experience.

App is functional, but is very limited in appearance. Don't make the chat function pop up in a massive box every time someone visits the store. It should be a small icon that expands. Also, add the ability to collapse the space where the instant answer questions go when I do not want to use them. I uninstalled and will check again in the future.

Certainly does the job for a free app. Multiple staff members can respond which is a great feature. The only thing is we get double emails as one goes to the primary shop email and the second for all staff.

This app works well if you have only one store. If you have multiple stores, this app is unusable. My one-star review is based on the fact that requests for this app to function with multiple stores were submitted over 2 years ago and the Shopify dev team has ignored the requests completely. Very typical of Shopify. Tidio, on the other hand, has this functionality working seamlessly. So, if there is anyone who would like to have one chat channel for multiple stores, Tidio is the way to go.

OMG I wish we had had this a year ago when starting Ive no idea why this is an app and not standard for all shopify stores. Ive been after a thing where i can log in check mail and orders all in once place. I hate going to my emails to read what customers want via a contact form thats linked to the email account. I've found it much better than shifting through hundreds of emails where customers who want things are mixed up with sales emails.
