It does the job, but it is the most expensive app I use at $20/mo and still has weird glitches and snafus. Every once in a while all the connections I build just seem to randomly break and I have to rebuild them. Behind the scenes, the use of the hidden products are clunky: they junk up my product list and don't translate well when importing into my shipping program, such as onto customs forms, because they are being imported as a separate product rather than a product variable. But it was the only working option for conditional logic options (at least at the time I purchased it), and it allows me to increase the options above the Shopify allotment, so I keep working with it. And their customer service is pretty good.

We run a highly customize-able group of products for the equestrian and canine community. We engrave brass and nickel silver plates and tags for horse tack and dog collars (with various fasteners) as well as engraved stall and stable signs, We could NOT have designed all the available options into our Shopify website without this fantastic app. The selection of option styles meets every requirement we need to present and capture our customers' preferences. The ability to vary pricing according to their product selection with conditional statements has saved us thousands in programming costs. We actually migrated our entire ineffective Magento/Go Daddy website to Shopify BECAUSE of this app. BEST decision we ever made. HIGHLY recommended!!!! Please excuse this additional comment, but in my enthusiasm for the Product options app, I totally forgot to mention the unblinking customer support provided by the Bold apps team! They are, in our opinion, unsurpassed in their response time and effectiveness when contacting them. KUDOS +++++!

This app has been great so far. It was a little daunting to get all the options set up at first, but I quickly got the hang of it. Being able to have conditional logic has helped clean up the look of my website and makes it much simpler for my customers to customize their products. When I have needed to contact support I have always received quick and friendly replies. MC has been great to work with! I would like to see a couple of options added, but overall it has everything you could need. I definitely recommend this to anyone who offers customization!

I downloaded the app immediately after watching the intro video. My industry is very unique in how we serve our clients and requires a lot of customization. The features in this app will surely allow us to create the customization options that our customers need in order to have a more efficient and even fun ordering experience. I got this and Customer Pricing, and Loyalty Points! I highly recommend investing in these apps. It'll make your life much easier! The support they offer is second to none as well!

So far it is a great app. Install was pretty straight forward, however it took a bit longer than 30 min. But that is a whatever. This app has cleaned up our options and made them much much more intuitive and easier to use. I'm looking forward to getting the conditional logic implemented and having great add on sales!

Works great, support is helpful too

I paid for the app to be installed in my new theme back in mid-March and they stated twice that they did. I finally was able to publish my new theme today only to find out the options were not there, which means the app was not installed properly or even at all (no revised code is even in the new theme). They definitely need better customer service which is something they can improve on. The representative who emailed back told us to install it ourselves yet we paid for it to be installed properly the first time. Will keep you all updated on the situation. For now, I would give caution to future users until I approve of their customer service and proper implementation skills.
