Parminder the Ninja (image picture) was able to complete my issue quickly and painless. I needed to display the varient i added on the top of my products to the bottom of the product. This was done through the chat option, no call or email needed! Thank you.

First and foremost, themes matter. Be sure to talk to support and use the professional integration service for your theme and start testing with all of your payment methods to make sure the integration works - we had to escalate to a 2nd Tier programmer at bold to fix. Also check your email confirmations + shipping confirmations & have the bold team fix those to eliminate the "unnecessary" coding ~ the customer really doesn't need that gibberish in their box! We absolutely love this app. & use it on just about all of our products ~ It really works seamlessly, and is an excellent performer.

I used this app. to facilitate the purchase process as I have a super complicated products. The app. was able to resolve about 80% of my challenges with ease as I'm really dummy when it comes to configuration or learning a new software. The Support was outstanding and professional. If only they have the 20% that I'm missing to have a perfect website. But perfect doesn't exist no?

Updating: 10/3/18 Since I wrote my original review (below) in 2014 I've had the occasion to reach out to Bold for support. Today, I needed some help and was lucky enough to get Rifat on chat from the Bold Customer Success Team. I hope his manager knows what a gem he is! Rifat is the best example of someone who delivers a great customer experience. I could tell he cared about solving my problem. Bold cares enough about their customers to hire great people like Rifat, which is why I will continue to be a customer and highly recommend them to others! -------------------------- THANK YOU !! ----------------------- The app is great! The time saving is beyond awesome! Makes it so much easier to get everything loaded and most importantly easy for my customers to order. The customer service that they provide is awesome!! I downloaded this app to be able to add variations to my listing to make the shopping experience better and more customer friendly. I had issues with the beta install and had to contact Guri in customer service for some help getting things up and running. He was great and worked through the issue with me. Five stars for Guri, my chat guru!

Bold Product Options is a user friendly app that is simple to use and works flawlessly. The customer support team is really on top of things. Open a ticket and they will stay after any issues you may have until you are comfortable using it. We turn to Bold apps as first choice when we need any extras stock shopify does not offer.

I love this product options app!!! Also, Bold installed the app in my theme very quickly, upon request, so I could get started! I needed it because I have a lot of personalized products in my store. The condition feature works perfectly for all of my specialized situations!!! So glad this app was available for customizations...very easy to use if you understand logic/conditional statement flow! Thank you!

A bit of a letdown I had high hopes for this app. We have over 100 products in our online store, each product can have a choice of 8 colours and each colour has an image assigned to it of the product. As standard when you click the colour the image changes and shows you exactly what the product looks like in real time. When using this app you would need to create a colour 'set' and manually type out your 8 colours and assign an image to each colour. This would need to be done for every single one of the 100+ products in order to upload different images essentially starting your store from scratch again..... Great idea but needs alot more work

Rifat helped me with a small issue and was quick and knowledgeable. Bold has great products and great customer service

This is a very buggy app. The idea is great but BOLD doesn't fully test the app. It doesn't work on Chrome under many circumstances. I also dealt with Tyson who did try but often created more bugs and left LIVE dummy products on our LIVE site. Again, the app is buggy as hell. We spent weeks trying to address the bugs with Bold with no avail. I spent HOURS testing and sorting the bugs. Be very careful, you may not catch the bugs yourself, then you will learn you CANNOT access your CART or CANNOT checkout with 3rd parties such as Amazon. It's just not worth it.

I had an issues assigning attributes to a second product. I reached out to support for help and was very surprised how fast they responded with the answer to my questions! This app is VERY VERY expensive, however if this is how they consistently treat their users, then it’s worth every single dime! I am so impressed. *****

We have been using this app for over a year and it has yet to disappoint us! Bold helped us get everything set-up and truly answered all of our questions for us over the past year. For example, tonight we were having an issue which customers had messaged us about and GURI (the person I spoke with on live chat) was able to answer my questions and solve the issue in less than 5 minutes! That is service! Thank you again for an awesome product and service!

We make semi-custom clothing and our basic shirt comes in more than 3000 options. This app is one of the only reasons we are able to use Shopify. Also, since our products are made to order, it is imperative that we are able to export orders to our database as well as Shopify POS - including all the options. This was the ONLY app we could find that allowed us to do so. (Using Xporter by eShopAdmin - they work perfectly together!) My only suggestions would be to enable me to to duplicate an entire Option Set because I have some products that have a single difference from another product and I had to set up a new Set from the beginning. You can add more than one product to the same Option Set if all the options are the same. They did the install and have been very responsive to questions. Do not be put off by the price! It truly is the best Options app out there.

Be warned, this app promises to be all that. You really require an additional $500-$700 of capital available to spend with the 3rd party developer to make this app truly shine. The folks at Bold say they know how to tweak it but everything costs money with them.

Simply put, without this app, I would not be in business. I recently switched to Shopify from Oscommerce. Under oscommerce I was able to have as many variations as I wanted. However, oscommerce is lacking in many areas, so I needed to switch to a different web host. I chose Shopify, but only after switching realized that I would be limited in the amount of product options I could offer. That would not work, as my customers rely on me for custom made gear, and I can only offer that with lots of options for each listing. I have one product that has almost 2 dozen options, giving you thousands of possible configurations. Needless to say, I panicked. I was not ready for that, and thought I had made a huge mistake switching to Shopify. Anyway, started searching for possible solutions and found your app. To be honest, I was a little disappointed to see that it would cost a recurring monthly fee instead of just a one time purchase, but you have to remember I am coming from an open source shopping cart where everything was free. But I bit the bullet and am glad I did. The way your app organizes all the options is much easier to use than Oscommerce. So, it saves me time in editing and creating new product options. Plus it integrates very nicely with my listings and looks very professional. Without your app, I would have most likely have had to switch to another web host/shopping cart. So, I definitely thank you for this app and my customers thank you. They have been very impressed with my new site and how it is laid out with all the custom options they can choose from.

I've been using this app for a few years now and Bols support is always hgelpful (Thank you Guri!) The app is doing exactly what I need (image uploads, option tied with price variations), it is stable and dependable.

I had an issue with using this app after changing my website theme. I reached out to BOLD support who were a really huge help in discovering the problem. Guri, Rose and Charles all chimed in on our conversation and were all super great to chat with. Guri put in an Installation Request for me, and when I had additional questions after the chat ended, Charles was able to answer them for me. Every single person was kind and helpful. Love BOLD support!

The nesting feature within options is great, as my products require several personalizing decisions. Brenden, Nick, and Guri were awesome teachers as I worked through how to do it. I just wish we could fully copy an option set, then build on it to make a new option set.

I have this app on 2 of my shopify stores. I am super happy with this app as it allows us to have a huge amount of options and conditional programming to keep all neat and clean looking. In particular, Parminder in technical support was VERY helpful when i needed to update my theme he helped me to reinstall everything. I really appreciate their excellent customer service and have never had any issues with the software in 3 plus years I have used it. Definitely, recommend this app!!

The product options app is by far the best app on the market for this type of functionality. Very intuitive to use and easy to learn quickly. Very affordable and reliable app since most business rely heavily on its function. Separate from all of that, the best part of the app is the ongoing support and availability from the team. Brenden and Guri on chat support are basically my saviors as they have helped with immediate needs. They get very involved and helped implement and fix the options and conditions I could not figure out. This company is top notch and widely used. Support Team is awesome and quick to respond and escalates issues as needed. Thanks again team. Highly recommend!!!
