The product meets our needs. Some difficulties to configure it but I could count on the help of the support. More importantly, the support is excellent. Quick response, they really listen. They have provided a quick and efficient solution every time! And they are very nice. Thanks to Mona and Alina and all the other team members for your kindness and efficiency!

The worst customer support we have ever experienced. Last Friday we sent two technical support requests, one is to apply for the installation code from the APP, and the other is to leave a message in the help center to ask for help to set the "add to price" function. On Monday, we received your email, one email replying to the code installation request, let us accept the request of collaborator account, we accepted it immediately. The second is to reply the email about the "add to price" request, and let us check your youtube channel and find solution in help center. I have read all of these. If it can be resolved by ourselves, why should we ask for your help? So, when I replied to your email, I asked again to help us set up the "add to price" function, but so far there is no reply! On Wednesday, I received your email saying that the code was installed, but never mentioned the "add to price" setting request , why??? On Thursday, we tested the installed code and found that there was a problem, so we recorded a video to inform you that there was a problem with the code, and then there is no reply until now. Why is your online chat function never online? If you can't provide online support, why put it on the website??? Our website was ready to go live one week ago, just wait for you to help us set it up, it has been a week. Now it's Tuesday again, no response from Bold customer support team, it has been 10 days (7 business days). We really don't have time to wait any longer.

I searched for a long time to find something as robust as Bold Options. I have a lot of rules that needed to be applied to the differnt selections. I had a tough time figuring out some of the logic to display correctly. Ryan was able to help me several times to get everything working. He saved me a lot of time and frustration. It builds a great vertical form, I needed to hire someone to spread out some of the options in a horizontal grid. One draw back is the display is not always instantaneous, so you have to give it a moment and refresh a couple of times to see your changes occasionally. Great product and support with in 24 hours most of the time.

This is an interesting piece of fine print: "Product Options is not compatible with checkout buttons that don't direct the customer through its checkout process." Does this mean that Adjustable Prices (Premium) do not work with Shopify Payments? Or does it just mean that Adjustable Prices will not be processed with "Accelerated Checkouts"? Might pay to expand on this here for me and perhaps in your installation guide.

Hello - a HUGE thank you to Mohammed who helped us organise our product options. He was patient, thorough and kept us updated until we were completely happy with the result. We have over 8,000 products and it all works seamlessly now.

If you are considering investing your time and resources in Bold Product Options, READ THIS FIRST: BEWARE THAT ONCE YOUR SHOPIFY STORE REACHES A POINT OF 1000 PRODUCTS, BOLD OPTIONS STOP WORKING! I have a live store that relies on Bold Product Options for all our product options and we continuously create new products and new options. Suddenly, we discover that new options are not displaying for our new products. Despite looking perfectly fine in Bold app, they are not displaying in the store! Naturally, we reached out to Bold Support and this is the explanation we received: "Unfortunately at the moment our app is limited to support roughly 1000 products and variants combined. This limitation isn't related to the number of products that you are using our app on, but rather a limitation of the total number of products your store contains. Usually when a store has more than 1000 products, it results in some unpredictable issues with assigning products to option sets." Wait, what? Why no one told me that when I was signing up? And why is this clearly well known fact within Bold Commerce is not disclosed at the time of the purchase? So much for "endless product options to your store" they profess on their website! And are they working to resolve the issue? Here is directly from Bold Support again: “I already passed this suggestion along to our developers to look at increasing this in a future update to the application. However, I don't currently know when/if this will be integrated into the app. I wish I had a better answer for you right now, but this is currently all the information I have at my disposal." Another support person wrote to me that he added my company to the list of companies affected by the limitation, thus confirming that this is a known issue, they are just sitting on it for now, waiting for it to reach a critical mass, I suppose. Needless to say we are deeply (and negatively!) affected by this previously undisclosed limitation. But for someone who is evaluating the app now thinking it could be it, my recommendation is this: If you know that your store will have more than 1000 products in it, Bold Product Options IS NOT YOUR APP! Unless you are diligently adding products to your store to downsize (not sure how that works), which was the recommendation we received from Bold Support. This is not the company to grow with. They cannot support your growth!

Ryan and his support team were very quick in their response. Our custom theme required a few updates from the Bold side and they were able to make the changes quickly, or point me to resources to accomplish all of our needs. Overall this was an impressive experience. I would recommend Bold Product Options for a custom product item's app, when you need to go beyond basic Shopify functions.

What can I say, the team at BOLD knows there stuff! Shoutout to Alina for helping me so much. Alina is a wizard! Thank you and bonuses to everyone that help me launch! :)

This app handled my complicated product variations & options perfectly (I had tried a couple other apps before that didn't work out). Alina went above and beyond to provide quick customer service and get everything taken care of for me. Thoroughly impressed.

I ran into a problem this week where a clitch happened within the Bold app and I reached out To Ryan and Grant and they both went above and beyond to correct this issue with a great outcome. Ryan went out of his way to telephone me and run through the options and was very polite and understanding. Thank You Ryan and Grant nice job.

If I could give zero starts I would. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SUPPORT - I contacted them 5 times for this issue and had 1 reply asking for access to my store and they STILL have not even attempted to login to resolve this issue. This app does not calculate product add on cost properly. It says its going to charge the customer then upon checkout, the customer is not charged. I found a MUCH better app DYNAMIC PRODUCT OPTIONS and the support is wonderful.

I highly recommend this app to create options on your site. Alina gave us superb help in any customization. Communication was always clear and she also gave us some helpful tips to optimizing the process. Thank you again! Now our site looks perfect.

I definitely don't use the app to it's fullest, but I love the ability to create seemingly endless product customizations. HOWEVER, the three star review is for their terrible customer service regarding a simple fix. I have since submitted negative feedback and was told (I kid you not...) to change it by the rep because it reflects on their performance. It was a simple fix that I resolved myself ("change the cart to Page instead of Drawer"... all I had to do). However, I was first told about "priced options" which wasn't my issue ... then the "buy it now" button on the product page, which related but didn't fix my immediate problem. I was also told that I needed to install their application after the rep took and sent me a screenshot of my store WITH THEIR APP INSTALLED?! Like... yes your app is installed, I don't need to give you admin access to install it. If you're looking to download this app for the upload feature... DON'T!!!!! Find another app. The upload feature doesn't seem to work with certain file types (or file size?? I don't really know) and never shows the image to the customer in their shopping cart. For a shop that has a ton of customizable products that requires photo uploads, this wasn't the best for me to choose. I've since downloaded a separate upload app but will continue to use Bold for it's customization features. I also doubt I will ever upgrade since certain features can be found in different Shopify themes, like swatches.

Love this app - completes my website so that my clients can create highly customized jewelry right in their cart. Also wonderful customer service (Heyo Alina!!) -- they even helped get me back up and running when I accidentally deleted the app. Really great tool for any Shopify store that needs more than 3 variants.

My wholesale website has lots of variations and I needed an app that could handle all that plus create an easy to read back end. Other apps I tried either could not link my product pictures with my skus or they couldn't get the variants to show up under the sku. Bold Product Options was able to do all these things and more for me. The support chat is amazing with immediate help and understanding of the any issues or complications I am having. The get to fixing my problem right away. I just wish I had the "smack my face" emoji a lot of the time.

I run a personalized jewelry and gifts website. It would not be able to function optimally without all the variables that Bold Product Options offers. When I have to update my theme occasionally, I need to have the app coding reinstalled as well. Bold has always assisted me in a very timely, friendly, and professional manner. Awesome support by Ryan. First off my client was on a old premium version of Bold Options and they were able to help upgrade us to Bold Options v2 premium. The day of launching the new theme, Ryan and his team were able to help get all the files updated with the Bold v2 code right away.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Ryan and the team at Bold. All I can say is— THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! At a time when most companies treat customers like faceless tickets to be dealt with as quickly as possible or worse— ignored or disregarded entirely, the team at Bold went above and beyond my highest expectations to resolve a tricky problem that was ultimately caused by my shop's THEME and NOT by the Bold app I was using. I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY with the level of communication and support at Bold. This is the best app to add product options (priced) by far. It's really simple and effective to use, plus their support team is amazing.
