Very easy to use and install. So far we've only had one purchase from a referral but we've only had the only for a couple of weeks. Overall great app.

"Per Use" pricing is a not correct. If you look at their pricing, they charge a minimum monthly fee ($15, $45, $155, $885) if you do not have enough commission to cover that fee. Not only that but ReferralCandy takes a whopping maximum 7.5% commission on referral sales. This is not recommended for small businesses or businesses on a tight budget.

It's a great app! Super easy to set up and use. Especially love the option for customers to donate their earnings as well.

Very easy to set up and includes all needed functionality for us. Only one small issue — post-purchase popup widget doesn’t work with Shopify.

We looked at a number of different apps before we chose referral candy. It is a nice setup and it is one of the most comprehensive referral apps we looked at. It also has measures in place to prevent customers from referring themselves which is a nice feature. I would definetely recommend this to my friends.

My business runs mostly on referrals, so ReferralCandy offered a way to increase sales. Pros - It runs itself. I have many things to think about but ReferralCandy pays out regularly without me having to log in AND it recruits for you by emailing customers about the opportunity to become a referrer. - No setup. I just installed it and it worked. - Flexible pricing. All the other equivalent apps (ie affiliate apps) have pricing that increases exponentially based on volume, making all of it outside of my price range (and they often aren't transparent with it either). ReferralCandy is perfectly priced and affordable. Also easy to cancel if needed. - Great support. They are very active and helpful. - Fairly customizable. You can change the email templates, add a referrer login to your website etc. - They are developing new features. Cons - Currently they do not support "deep linking" (referrers sharing specific products) but the support has been communicating with me about this feature which is in development. - Doesn't integrate too well with Google Analytics. All referrers links become a single source. You'd have to seperately log into ReferralCandy to see where you're referrers are coming from. - It might be a little hard to test for the first time since you must make the referral order from a different computer than the one you created the referrer account. - It's not an all out affiliate program, although extremely similar. It is simplified so doesn't have the same analytic features or affiliate marketplace. In many cases this is a plus because of ease of use. Overall, I would highly recommend at least trying it. It works perfectly for us and we will continue to use it.

It has only been a month since I've signed up so I really can't tell how well the system will work for my customers. However, what I do already know are the following: 1) The system was extremely easy to integrate into my Shopify store. No technical background required. Plus! 2) It was easy to set up and activate my referral champaign. Double Plus! 3) The text within the templates are customizable, unlike previous services I've used where customization was very limited. Triple Plus! Bonus: If you do have coding experience there is so much more you can do to incorporate your referral process using referral candy into your sales process. Overall, I'm very pleased thus far. I recommend Referral Candy!

Still, not sure if it is working or not after a month of Trial, We only had one successful referral through the first month, but another free month is being offered to shopify customers so why not take advantage of it. We will spend more time on the campaign format etc to see if that helps

ReferralCandy has already paid for itself in the first month of use! We are thrilled to have this resource and love seeing how our customers are networking. Customer Service was great and quick to answer all of our questions... We are still in our trial period- And if payments go out to our customers as smoothly as everything else has worked, we will be using this app for a long time. Definitely worth it!

If you're not using Referral Candy, thats a shame. Anyone who has ANY margins in what they sell should use Referral Candy. Whether you're selling a: service, consultation, product, coaching- it doesn't matter. You'll instantly help grow your store organically. The product is simple to use. The support staff has been awesome, and I've only scratched the surface of how powerful this product truly is. Highly, highly recommended.

**updated content here: Got a great email from the support team about our review (below) and it appears that they have 2/3rd's of what I thought was missing in terms of features. Kudos to them for the follow-up and I have upgraded their rating because of the excellent service/support. ***prior review: This is a very limited package and if it doesn't fit your business model, you don't have much flexibility. We decided not to use it because of the very rigid rebate processing model: they process rebates at the end of the month. This means that you can't control when they get paid, or if they get paid. In our case, we offer a moneyback guarantee and that means there is no way for us to cancel the payment or modify it once a purchase has occurred.

quick, seamless integration. shows if customer opened an email. unfortunately for us it doesn't create any referrals within trial period.

Referral Candy is a great software with an amazing customer support. The staff has exceeded all of our expectations and the ease of their referral program is amazing. Our clients are sharing our story and we're confident that very soon are going to start getting succesful referrals. We totally recommend this software.

This is a great app for anyone wanting a "Tell a friend about us and get (x) discount" offer for their store. Simply create your offer with Shopify discount engine, then let Referral Candy do the rest. It's really that easy! I had our referral program up and running in just a few minutes.

Very easy to install! I had been wanting to add this feature for a loooooong time! I am about 3 weeks in and I am not seeing any big increase in sales or the promo code I setup being used by customers yet, but I am going to keep it installed on my store. We get a little under 1,000 unique visits per day so perhaps once our traffic volumes are a little higher we will see some results. These sort of things are sometimes a numbers game in my opinion and niche apparel has a lower conversion overall from every angle, even organic traffic. For the minimal cost and ease it couldnt hurt to keep it installed and see what happens.

This app is quick to use. I think it has a lot of potential if there's a dedicated resource in your company to monitor the progress/performance of this app.

ReferralCandy is easy to use and super sleek. We love the clean design and feel of the app itself but also the emails being send out to our costumers. We aren't missing any features. The app does what it is supposed to do. We have been using the app for over a month now and are still confident about it but need more time to figure out what incentives really work for our costumers. A minimum of $15 is a bit hefty when compared to the overall price of Shopify itself and also if you need more than one month to figure out the proper incentives. A different price for companies based outside the US would also be appreciated. Would we recommend the app? Even though we are still waiting for the big hike in sales to happen its the best referral app we have tried out so far and are confident we can make it work.

This app works great for spreading the word about our store. Zach at Customer Support is also quick to answer any queries I had. I would recommend it! It's helped sales for our store!

The app was easy to set up and we were up and running in no time. We were impressed at how quickly word-of-mouth spread as soon as we started with the service, bringing us thousands in new sales so far. Would definitely recommend this.

I can't believe how easy that is! Great back-end. Didn't have to customise much. Shame it can't target existing customer base (hence 4 stars).
