We have used a few different subscription apps and got a recommended recharge form a marketing agency when our current vendor failed to deliver. At the start, we were looking at 10k of dollars in implementing recharge but thanks to the support of John M from the Customer Service team, we successfully implemented the app by ourselves self saving loads of money! They went the extra mile to help us with customizations on our theme to make recharge even more efficient. - These guys don't mess around with top-notch US-based support, that's a rarity these days.

We've been using Recharge for a while now. It works better than other subscription software we have had. I will say I find their help documentation generally confusing - like it's written for someone more tech minded. However, their customer support usually responds within 24 hours and is helpful.

We initially had issues with the app and our ability to view customer information within shopify. I am happy to report that ReCharge DID fix the issue and we are now able to do all of the functions through shopify as promised. This app is very user friendly for the end user and places automatic subscription orders while sending customers a notification with time to allow them to increase, reduce, swap, cancel, or update before each order is placed. It also allows us to adjust the order for the customer as they sometimes request. I've gone from frustrated to impressed. I thank ReCharge for working out a fix and for sticking with it. This review update is my thanks for their hard work and for making it happen. UPDATE: 2/7/24: After several years of recharge use, recharge has gone from a fee structure designed to make money with you as you grow, to a structure designed to make money off of you. With an increase of over 1000%, even good customer service like described above, does not compensate for corporate greed. Goodbye Recharge.

I've been using recharge for about 7 years. Today my invoice was three times what it usually is. I've looked at it and it seems that that is there new standard pricing plan which is ridiculous. After contact apparently they sent an email to tell me of this change 6 months ago and with no follow up emails. I think it's disgusting as I have less subscribers than ever but paying more than I ever have. Recharge making my monthly fee 3 times more than what it usually has, has officially killed my business.

I have been using Recharge since 2019. Since Shopify theme 2.0, very poor service : - the app has not been robust (customers not going through the right checkout) - Support let me down on my bug for over a week with massive impact on my business - They made me move to shopify checkout and on the way increased by 99$/month my subscription (with no extra service quite poor support on the opposite) I'm feel being abused as my customers are subscribed and they know that moving elsewhere would imply to ask customers for their bank details again => churn. Really NOT HAPPY and thinking seriously about an exit.
