Hello, i keep getting error with google merchant. 1 - I am unable to get past this error "54 products didn’t publish to Google View each product to learn how to resolve any errors." 2 - I am also getting this error "Missing value [shipping] in [Shopping_ads] [AU]. Pending initial review in [Shopping_ads] [AU]." Please provide guidance

Like others, over the span of a week, all of our products expired and we ended up with no active items on our Google Merchant account. We tried to solve the issue on our own, not really expecting to succeed, especially after seeing so many similar situations reported in these reviews. We are not sure if it will help anyone else, but we did discover that our primary feed had been deleted. We reconnected that and after 36 hours were very pleasantly surprised to see all of the item were active again.

We've used this for years with no issue. As of mid-March 2023, our products have suddenly started expiring!? Waiting to hear from Google on this, but seems many uses are experiencing the same issue. Help!

This app doesn't let you push the required Variants info to the merchant center. - The app appends the Product name + Variants options in the title attribute for content API by default - The "color" field is disabled in the Bulk edit page for variants. - "Custom labels" are disabled in the Buld edit page for variants. - missing Feed attributes on the Content API prevent you from fixing the issues aftermath using Feed Rules. - The product errors continue to show, even though you have fixed the issues. - The Store name is by default set as the Brand name and cannot be removed even if the products have no barcode and are marked as Custom products. Also, eventho the products are marked as Custom, the app still prompts you to add gtin/mpn codes. I would have expceted google to atleast offer all the required listing fields to shopify users.

Its so complicated and confusing. It costs a lot of money and it take bachelors degree to understand their terms and policies which you will always run into an issue and get your account suspended for no reason. Definitely not a good way for the average person to work with.

Doesn't work well. Shopify, you built it, please fix it. I tried support but that didn't help so I will write this review. You have a mandatory field on the product page, why I don't know, it is called "vendor". Ok? Well some of us are small businesses who sell one of a kinds. Vintage would also have issues with this. So you force us to add a "vendor", I have used my shop name. Well, Google takes that information and adds it as BRAND. There is no brand! So they punish me and keep asking for a GTIN etc. I had to go to the merchant center and change every product. Tick off the box they have, for "custom or vintage". Days later it is back to what it was!!! I assume because it keeps pulling the information from Shopify? Why don't you add a box on the product page, where we can check "custom or vintage" because there is no brand and not force us to write something that isn't true? Also, product category should work as it does on Google, so we can easily pick category. I get warnings all the time, I click on the yellow google, the window to edit pops up and same thing there. No suggestion about category. Do you really think we know those long categories? I tried adding the number I knew it was, didn't work. Your programmers are changing the dashboard weekly, unnecessary changes and not always for the better, how about fixing actual issues? Adding things we can use instead of meaningless moving things around so we can't find them? Just asking! I guess I may have to remove the app and try something else. i am not sure what to do right now. I really wanted this to work. I can't believe this hasn't been known before and fixed. So did you know and never did anything about it or weren't you aware?

Shopify feed is not pushing product information to google merchant regularly. This is a consistent issue and when I contact Shopify costumer care these people send one line messages and respond slow most of the times 24 hours later, at this rate I’ll be an old man before these people fix the issues. Google is no help complete BS service.

I have read dozens of complaints about this app. And it is a shame that the issue wrt the interface with the Content API from Google is yet not resolved. There is quite some documentation on the Content API from Google and seems to me that this issue could have been addressed a while ago. Though not sure why it still is not. As a result all my products are rejected on Google Merchant Center!

The Analytics 4 migration instructions are the worst, only possible if you are a developer. I won't recommend any Google products until they massively improve their UX and start catering for users without a coding background.

I had been using this for years, got a notice a little while ago about products expiring, and now all my products are disapproved, has been like that for 3 weeks already. Contacted Shopify Support, they told me to contact Google. Contacted Google, no response. Seems like i am not the only one having this issue, with no where to tuirn for support. No point in having a website if am unable to market the items on Google

I have been using Google Merchant Centre linked to my Shopify store for years and, until recently, it worked ok (with the odd glitch). More recently, however, all my products have expired for no reason, the product pages show that Google feed is not linked with an error message of "Add shipping cost for your product" (even though my shipping options have not changed) and I cannot even link to my existing GMC account through the app. This is not good enough.

I've been trying to link this channel to my Shopify account for six months. Support from Google is poor. I don't get responses when I email. It's difficult to navigate all of the requirements. I eventually hired a third party to try and navigate the maze for me, but even they had trouble. I understand that the online market is saturated since Covid; however, treating potential business partners this way is unprofessional. I use Google in my personal life and this lack of support has also altered the way that I feel as a customer.

No support to assist with usage. Immediately got suspended for misrepresentation and upon trying to do the right thing and fix it was ablsolutely upable to get any form of assistance to find what the issue related to. Given up on google and will use other channels instead. Good to know Google like to support small businesses - Not!!! After such a terrible experience I am looking to move all paid services away from Google now.

It's so disappointing that it's hard to believe it's a Google product. I've tied in with my Google account, but the last step of adding a channel always fails with the message "can't connect youtube channel. I tried many times in a few days and it still says the same thing. I've seen people on reddit in the same situation and the problem has not been solved. There is not even a reason.

App works as intended. Great help from Mario and Rolly @ Shopify team. It's only a connector and nothing wrong with the app to connect to google merchant/ads. Google team is very strict on your policies listed on your website.
