Straight forward app! Does the job perfectly, easy to configure! Even for a non tech savy person! took us less than an hour to connect the catalogue and update our product. It seems to have issue with automatic shipping cost, when order 2 of one item the shipping cost stay the one of one item though.

They are using deceptive marketing tactics. I built an entire site around their claim that their totes are delivered in 3 days. After building everything out I placed and order myself and the delivery date was over 2 weeks out because rather than use a US print house (I live in CA) they printed it over sees somewhere. Would not recommend them. They are not transparent and lie.

So far so good. Still early but lots of flexible helpful options and much still to explore. Have placed first order to monitor fulfilment process. Again, so far so good.

I really enjoy Gelato's integration with Shopify. It make it really easy to manage the business with: - automated fulfillments which can be configured to fulfil after x hours and has an option for manual fulfilments - automatically sends updates on order to customers (e.g. shipping info) - the ease of importing and syncing products with shopify One thing I'd recommend they improve is the quality of their mockups. On Gelato, they look alright, but when imported into shopify, they are something not as clear especially when zoomed in.

Really fast shipping compared with other POD businesses. Efficient customer service also. The major thing that is lacking is product variety. Would love if they could add a larger variety of products to compete with the other major POD companies. For example: beanies, trucker caps, ladies crop t-shirts, stickers etc.

I have been using this app for a month now and I have no complaints, never lets me down and performs as described.

i tried other print on demand companies as well but so far Gelato is the best. The quality of the prints and the materials much more better than the others. Also print on tote bags doesn't disappear after the first wash like i had in the other companies, it is still the same after washing many times. Order process is easy to manage, shipping is fast, the way the packages arrive is great, the customer service is amazingly helpful. i am so happy of working with gelato.

I use this app for my art prints online shop. I'm very happy with it. The quality and printing process is very satisfying. They also have excellent customer support and easy refund policy. Fast delivery and variety of products is superb! If you are an artist and want to sell prints of your artwork, Gelato is your app.

Endless problems with print quality and damaged prints. I used gelato for hundreds of photo, aluminium, and acrylic prints. I'm having to move my services to other providers after endless problems with items arriving damaged in post, and poor print quality. "Museum Quality" prints are often scuffed and scratched. They do not appear to be high quality. Packaging is typically in a corrugated cardboard envelope that bends easily and damages the print. Gelato will offer reprints on damaged items for free, but often these reprints arrive with the same problems. Wooden frames are extremely cheap, wood colour does not match that on the website. "Aluminium Dibond" prints in New Zealand and Australia are not printed on 3mm dibond as advertised, but directly onto 1mm aluminium sheet. Again this often arrives bent. Packaging often has no corner protection. Occasionally the mounting bracket is attached upside down. The app is intuitive and responsive. Customer service is excellent. But these don't help if the end products have such quality control issues.

I am using Gelato for my UK Shopify store (www.myprintsgallery.com) and it is working like a charm. With its model of local production and local shipping, I do not think any of the other POD apps in Shopify are close to be able to follow on production time and shipping time. Of course this gives a "wow"-factor to customers when receiving their orders so fast, as if it were from a shop next door. In addition, the feedback I am receiving on product/print quality so far is brilliant (I am selling posters and canvas). I have had zero returns so far. Customer service is very responsive and willing to help immediately in case of any questions. As with any business dealing with production and sales of physical goods there is always the odd chance something will happen in the supply chain at some point for a customer order. It is great to know customer service will be right there on the spot to support so I in turn can give an answer to my customers quickly which they rightly expect (even if the answer might not always be what they ideally hope for).
