Gelato is perfect for my start up print on demand needs. Their platform integrated so easily with my Shopify store and continues to sync the products. They also have a free and timely tracking / reporting system for order progress. They also have great customer service and followup on everything. They help solve problems on the rare occasion one occurs (operator error (I) was the issue). Thank you Team Gelato.

Integration is not automatic when customers make an order in my store. Also, the address field only allows 35 chars, which means that in most cases you have to change your customers' orders for the address to fit the available address fields. Mug packaging is not great. Only cardboard around it, there's no bubble wrap or other kind of fragile material protection. That's not good at all and the sample I've ordered has reached me broken. Even though there's production in my country, all the orders so far have come from Germany. This leads to slower delivery times for me and my clients, which shouldn't be needed if there's production in Portugal. Other than these issues, Gelato is exactly what I was looking for and I do plan to keep using it for my small business. It does still have room to improve and that's why I'm leaving that feedback here.

I had a problem with one of the products (product damaged) in my order and they took action quickly to credit or refund that order. The Gelato team informed me of the next steps to follow when I encounter a futur issue which is really clear. My problem is the refund was made only on a Gelato wallet which only allows you to use it in a futur order in their store. Regards Olivier

Very good app. Great selection of tools and setting for beginners and professionals. I would like to see more free mockup templates in the future.

It's easy to install and navigate. Support time it's helpful and step to step guide easy for follow. It's easy to create products everything is on hand and function properly. Great.

Hello, I accidently transfered one of my product on your app and I can't find it anymore on my shopify store. What is going on? Could you be nice enough to contact me and tell me why I can't get it back in my stock?

It was very easy to connect Gelato to Shopify and create products. Each product I created connected to my store within a couple seconds (even when I updated them). So far, I love the user experience. Gelato makes it simple for me to design products with the logos I have made for my brand.

Avoid them if you can. + Decent quality products. - If you face any issues (which I have faced multiple) don't expect support to be of any help; they'll give an empty apology then avoid what you're saying. - Their delivery isn't reliable since they don't control their network well; I've had customers place orders weeks ago and they still haven't been delivered. - Their design tool is very clunky; it's failed to save my designs costing me hours of work, and it's generally difficult to navigate.

A super slick integration. Great support when I had an issue with the order not being processed automatically (user error-nothing to do with Gelato). Very happy so far!

Gelato - Customer support at it's best! I really never experienced any help like I got from Gelato! The support team is REALLY listening to you and they do their absolute BEST to help you with your problem AND also listen to you when you speak about improvements they could implement! Gelato is a great app! I've been really impressed with how easy this app is to use. I have also purchased products and the quality is great, delivery times are as promised. I cannot fault this app or company. Absolutely love it and would recommend to anyone looking to start POD. You will not be disappointed.

Gelato has been great for me so far. Especially their customer service. I've used other Print on demand companies and their customer service is no way near as good as Gelato's is. I'd like more variety. If Gelato added hats & beanies I wouldn't have any need for the other print on demand companies I currently use. Overall great service and great company.

Super easy user interface and some of the best customer support I've ever experienced. I've had a bunch of difficulties getting the print colours right, but I think this was mostly due to oversights on my part. A few things that would make these 5 stars shine even brighter would be: The possibility to upload PDF ready prints for posters instead of having to use their own product designer tool (fewer steps, fewer potential mistakes). I'm currently using a workaround to achieve this. Better mockups! I'm on Gelato Gold and must say that the mockups are more a Bronze kinda' deal, so I'm using Freepik premium mockups to achieve high quality. The possibility to allow customers to choose shipping partners based on their preferences. Not exactly sure if you'd need a Shopify Plus account to achieve this, but in any case it's trust building and should be possible. A final ask.. would be more automation on the shipping and invoices part. I'd like to be kept up to date regarding delays and have invoices automagically sent to my billing system (could be as easy as forwarding to an email). Anyway! All in all this is my first exposure to a print on demand service and I'm quite impressed with the tech, team and integration. Cheers

It has been quite seamless so thank you all very much. The prices are a bit high to make decent returns but still a fantastic website to use to get into the industry.

Updated 1/22/2023 We love the service and satisfied with the production quality, but recently we have seen something totally unacceptable that must be fixed NOW! When setting up a product in Gelato for your store, the resolution and quality of the preview images placed on your product are high compression/low quality and low resolution. This creates a preview image that trashes your design. We have learned from potential customers that they think this is the quality of the final product and do not buy because of it. This is just terrible and results in significant lost sales. Now we understand why!

Sadly, very disappointing. I ordered a sample order of one of my products, and the print quality was terrible. It looked as though the printer had run out of ink halfway through the printing process. I can also see that a mistake had been covered up with the new faded print on top! - Just awful. I will definitely be uninstalling Gelato from integrating with my store, as I will be very embarrassed for any of my customers to receive such a low-quality print standard, and of course, with my brand name on it!!! Such a shame.
