Shame that it is impossible to obtain a real customer IP instead of internal. In case of fraud, such IP cannot be used as evidence, unfortunately, small thing but very important. Everything else works without issue.

Thank you for this! This has enabled me to sell my music digitally online!. One complaint I have received from a customer though, is that there is a popup advert after paying for a product with Digital Download, and the download page. Not sure if this is the app or if this is a shopify thing?

The app is fine until you realize how laughably easy it is for a fraudulent customer to scam you with this. If a digital downloads order is marked as HIGH risk of fraud, the digital downloads app does not care and auto sends the digital files no matter what. Meaning, this will likely end up with a charge-back on the order, with the fraudulent customer receiving all the files and not paying. What a joke. The app does have some protection for PayPal eChecks, but absolutely nothing for high risk of fraud orders. If this was fixed then the app would be just fine to use, but depending on the size of your store, this may cause you a big headache. FIX IT Shopify!

Great App. Cant recommend enough.

Its free. Ok. Does what it says on the tin. I have used for over a year with great results. Can track downloads and see who has downloaded what, but it is a bit clunky. Would love improved tracking and analysis. Neater layout options for non technical person would also help.

very easy to use i have just set it up and have not tested it thus far but everything looks good!

Wish the download link integrated with the customer account. Hyperlinking the product does the customer no good in the future... it would be nice if the download link was stored in the account too.

Works great for what it does. Would love to see a feature of bundling already uploaded files into new products. Saves Shopify storage and makes my life easier. Much easier also to avoid duplicates. That's the only thing I am missing. Everything else works well.

Love it. Selling on amazon is a real headache to get ebooks to people. I have not had one complaint yet from a customer. Highly recommended if you provide an ebook with your physical product.

Just doesn't work. No download links are sent with the emails. Rubbish and a total waste of time. That's why it's free in the first place.

My customers can get their programming so much easier than before. Great and easy app to use and edit. Gotta Try It! Aloha!

It's very useful, I have had this app since I opened my shop. u t I have a big problem: you can only attach one documents, so whenever I have several for one product (and it happens a lot) I compile it into one rar file. It seemed like the perfect solution, except for people downloading the goods and not being able to open rar files. Anyway we could be sharing several documents for one product?

Please upgrade app to allow multiple files per product. Zip files are difficult for many customers to open and require that we send them alternate download links.

This is awesome! Especially with it being free and it integrates itself so you do not have to add any codes to the theme. The only thing I wish for in the future - I would even maybe pay for it... Great little app, the only downside for me is that the link to the download is not stored in a customers account.
