Support isnt quick and when customers placed orders, we needed to be able to adjust the shipping. Well it doesn't tell you if you have to charge shipping costs separate or if it does thru the system because no credit card info was given to us to run the remaining balance. It really has hiccups in the system, it wasn't was for us at all.

It's great! This app makes my life easy. I couldn't run my business without it. Every type of business has it's own special needs, and Edit Order addresses that. Drew in support has been a great help anytime I've had questions.

tested... really not very functional. Makes it awfully confusing. And this could be issue with shopify vs with app developer. All edited orders get duplicated. And all things about that order get duplicated, including status, payment, archive, etc. Editing an archived order results in, another archived order. And no way to change shipping status or archive.

The app caused more problems than it solved. Rather than editing an order, it actually created an additional order. Both orders wind up in the shipping que which just creates an opportunity to screw up...especially since they are not consecutive orders. In addition to this headache, both orders show up in your daily revenue even though the original order was refunded. It totally screws up accounting. Do not install!!

Thoroughly recommend. This app is an essential for us to run our business and it now works for us. There are still a lot of improvements we would like but the good news is that communications with the new owners don't go into a black hole. They are very responsive and inspire confidence that they are listening and really care about their customers. A refreshing change!

I read several reviews about the developers abandoning the app, but it seems that it has been bought by another group now. I have been in touch with them, about starting to use the app with our store, and I have to give them a 5 for great customer service. Very helpful prompt replies to emails, and willingness to consider the unique needs of my store as they continue to develop and improve the app.

DO NOT INSTALL -- the developers have abandoned this app and support emails are bouncing back. Shopify needs to remove this from the app store immediately.

Was awesome while working .... for no reason it has stopped working and the page won't load. Previous emails on another issue have gone unanswered.

Works great WHEN IT WORKS. Looking to see what we can find in the way of alternatives because we are beginning to question its reliability. Its currently (and it has done this a couple of times the last few months) not loaded at all. And customer support is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of.

Love this app, but now it's not loading... As other reviews have said your support is terrible as multiple questions I've had are still unanswered. I figured those out myself but now that the program simply isn't working I'm at a loss. Update: It seems that they have added a Helpdesk software! The app is truly wonderful! Shopify should take note. Now that their support is improving things are perfect!

Edit Order is an amazing app. Blackpants Workwear sells hairdressing and beauty uniforms and without Edit Order we would not have been able to choose Shopify as an e-commerce platform. It makes it possible to process phone orders for existing customers and exchange products for sizes or styles easily. Support is great and they are always up for suggestions on new features.

This app was working great! But now is broke and no answer from support - looks like from the reviews that I'm not the only one.

I'm not sure why some of the commenters below are so negative. So far the app has been really excellent and fills a really critical role - both editing old orders and adding new orders. Highly recommended. Update: They don't respond to emails, and editing an order breaks the fulfillment settings on the product.

Nice app! I don't remember writing this review, but maybe I did; however, let's be real... $19 per month to change a "regular" to "large?" That's basically what it is, something Shopify should have inherently in their cart/software is 2/3 the cost of the entire thing??? I just can't comprehend this, maybe someone else can enlighten me about it? I suppose it's not the fault of the app creators, but again, I can't imagine why they needed to increase the cost? What sort of issues/comments/concerns could come up with this sort of thing that would need multiple support reps and programmers? Add that to the fact it's really one of two edit order apps then I'm puzzled why the $19 price tag. I'm going to try and go with StitchLabs for $29, only $10 more and I get a full inventory app too.

I had to delete this app also! It was working, now it is not! No valid support obvious.

Great! This app addressed our issue with phone orders. Before we discovered it, we had to adjust our inventory manually which was very inconvenient. Now we can enter orders of customers who prefer to order via the phone and maintain an up-to-date inventory.

UPDATE: A few days after I wrote the below review, Mike from Edit Order (new management) contacted me and sorted everything out. He quickly responded to all my emails and questions and even added some new functionality which helps us speed up the manual order process. Very happy with how this app works now. --------------------- We're not even able to access this app anymore, even when we approve the charge of $19/month. No reply from the support desk. This was once a great app at a very reasonable price and it's a shame that all the hard work Ryan (previous owner) put in has gone to waste. We will be looking elsewhere to create custom orders.

There is a change in management for this app and there is no communication ever since this app has been bought out by new management. Now, the new management has become greedy and started charging the basic stores as well a monthly fee of 19$. Sorry! I am un-installing this app as I will not pay so much monthly. Watch out for that May 3rd date as you will be charged from that date and it is no longer FREE. UPDATE : Even when you approve the charge, this app is not working as it is unable to confirm the payment like others said. I had to use it for a couple of days until the trial period is over to fix a few things. In any case, I found Stitch labs app which costs a little more but it helps through inventory and does everything Edit order does and more.. Check it out. I am pretty thrilled to be testing it.

Have never had success with this app. The math never ends up right. Just opening an order to edit and it will say the customer owes some random amount... like 0.27 still due or silly numbers like that. I have had it installed for over a year but now that they want to charge for an app that doesn't work, time to uninstall.

We have used this app and it is a very basic edit order application that did what it stated. It was free and we would use it a couple of times a months on average. But now they are charging $19/month which in my opinion is a rip off. So we deleted it.

UPDATE - Change in management, change in support, and now charging basic stores the $19 fee? I'm out. This app is a lifesaver and time reducer. We sell on several channels and manually enter orders often. This app makes it easy. We had a recent problem with the sync, first real issue, and it was resolved through live chat in minutes. The app is also constantly improving with each update.

The app is a nice idea, but AWFUL. Especially if you use other apps. I use a shipping app to ship all my packages in. When you edit an order, it duplicates the order versus editing it. I was sending out duplicate packages to people due to the way this app works. It does what it's supposed to do, but it will mess you up if you use shipping apps! ALSO, this WILL skew your revenue and daily revenue. Since it creates a new order once you edit, Shopify reads it as a new order. Not worth paying for.
