I used this app to create multiple discount rates for different products. It was really user-friendly, very intuitive and perfect for my need. I selected it from a list of suggestions by the Shopify Support staff and have so far only explored this feature f multiple discount rates. Am eager to explore it more. Thank you! What I'd love to see is the following: 1) List of all products in my webstore with an input box to enter what discount I want to offer for that product 2) When creating multiple discount rates for the products, it would really help if a product that has already been marked in a Discount X% list is not shown as an option in the Discount Y% list when I am selecting products for Discount Y%. I had to go back and forth a lot, till I finally colour coded my product list in Excel with different colours for each slab, so I could cross check whether I had already assigned a discount for a product or not. That said, I still think it's a great app!

Great App! Love the flash sale it offers, and the help page is very insightful and clear to understand.

I thought this app could do discounts with tiered pricing. Doesn't seem to be able to do this. Otherwise a very simple product to use.

Bold allowed us to supercharge our subscriptions when starting from 0. Easy to use and get up and running.

I used this app to set up my site wide sale and it was done in less than 5 minutes! Great App. Only criticism I have is the plans could be cheaper but overall happy

I decided to go with another bold app, and of course I needed help. I think I deleted the app about 4 times out of frustration and tried other apps, but I kept on coming back to this one. I was happy about that, because Aryan did at outstanding job with helping me with the bold upsell app. I promise you, if it wasn't for Aryan I would have given up on both apps. The app is far better than majority of others I have tried. You're able to have multiple discounts at once and add products in quickly and easily. The support is great, they will always help where they can. The only thing I've noticed is a slight time lag - when you click from page to page to view products, for a second there is no sale and then it pops up a second later. I do have a large catalogue and perhaps that is why. Overall, highly recommend!

Disappointed - started using the app yesterday and the discount set until Sunday DISAPPEARED on Saturday morning. A purchase went through without the discount. Also, had to se the discount twice before it took, even if I was told it was synchronized with the shop. In trial period right now, we'll see how it behaves, but I lost trust this will properly without supervision.

Just added. So far so good in terms of setup. Waiting to see if it works. Good luck to everyone else who adds this app.

The app works really well for doing any kind of sale at anytime. It's definitely a big time saver for changing all the prices with a lot of variants. Customer service from Rahul was above and beyond to help us do something "custom" in regards to corona virus. If you ever do sales, Bold Discounts is the one to get!

Review Update. I'm still using Bold Discounts but it's only because of the 5 Star support that they offer. After my first, disaster with the app, I installed a previous version that was more stable but still buggy. It added code into the site and messed up my image view for a while but a big shout out to Guri who fixed it all for me. So, for now, I'm sticking with it as it is great for bulk discounts. I've upped the stars to 4 because of the support I received from Bold. It would be five if there's wasn't the issue of rouge code. If they can make it more stable then it'll definitely be 5 Stars. **Forget about this app. It was a total nightmare. When I deleted the discounts I set up from the app they were not removed from the store so I had to go into the site and remove each one and re-price them one by one! Also, some of the discounts the app applied were 30% & 40% rather than the 10% & 20% I wanted and even a few products were reduced to €0!!! I don't like writing poor reviews but as this app cost an extensive amount of money (in extra discounts) and time, I want to warn others about the pitfalls.

Excellent app so far. We have a jewelry online store, so we are always in the need to changed prices for a large number items for every special sale, flash sales, etc., and Bold Discounts App came extremely helpful for us. The tech support team is excellent, their assistance is always friendly, professional and fast, very effective I must say, they have always made us feel relaxed and confident that they will always be accessible and friendly solving our doubts. So far we´re happy. Thanks Daniel and all the team members that have given assistance at some point. All of them; AWESOME!

Shopify doesn't have a modern system for marking products down and setting timed sales. It's an oversight that's quite strange, but thankfully for a reasonable price Bold offers this app that allows you to create discounts on a schedule with a number of features that make things like flash sales possible. The installation was straightforward and the user interface is as well. I haven't needed support until today for a minor issue. This is after over a year and a half using the app. My customer service rep Naman asked if I could write a review while in the chat, so I'm doing so now as a professional courtesy. (Thanks, Naman!) Converting sales is your job as a shop manager. For many of you, it's just one job out of an almost countless array of responsibilities. It's daunting. Shopify's lack of markdown tools makes something like this actually pretty necessary if you have an inventory of thousands of items and variants like I do. In my experience markdowns are better for customers. They see the discount, can calculate savings, and need one less step to punctuate a sale. I recommend trying the app. It's a set it and forget it solution that your customers will appreciate as much as you. You can even tag sort sale items so that they populate a special "Sale" collection in your store automatically. It's pretty great and well worth the $15 a month. Is it dumb that Shopify doesn't have this feature already? Yes. But Bold made a nice app in the meantime.
