Since December 5, 2024, the app has stopped working correctly. Previously, everything functioned fine. When I selected a language on my shop, I could also change the currency, and the language remained unchanged. Now, translations work properly only if the shop's default currency is selected. My default currency is USD. If I choose USD and set the language to, for example, Italian which I translated, everything works perfectly. However, if I change the currency to Euro, the translations stop working. This issue has never happened before, so the problem must originate from the app. I haven’t made any changes to my shop. Edit: Shopify support has confirmed that the problem is due to their application update... Hi there, I'm sorry to hear about this issue you are having. Tried to use the translation, but so many are not correct, so I manually corrected them but it won't update in the website, the website still has the wrong version.

It is a great app, but It would be great if you could translate more then just 2 languages.

Eine Zeit lang ganz gut, wenn auch im Basic Plan nur 2 Sprachen automatisch. Neuerdings gibt es aber keine Übersetzungen mehr. Ein Update konnten wir noch nicht finden. Wir suchen den Fehler. Hat jemand eine Idee dazu? Danke vorab und Grüße

Really good. But there could be content requiring translation which is missing from the translation table. But it's not common.

Après avoir passé beaucoup de temps pour compléter et améliorer les traductions générées automatiquement et pour traduire chaque url du site (chose à faire manuellement), j'ai découvert que cette application pénalise le SEO de mon site. En effet, depuis l'installation de Shopify Translate & Adapt, Google Search Console m'a signalé l'apparition de nombreuses pages en double (duplicate content). Ceci est très mauvais pour le SEO (référencement naturel). Comme cette application a été développée par Shopify, j'ai donc contacté l'assistance Shopify. L'assistance m'a gentiment proposé de me débrouiller tout seul en allant sur le forum de Shopify. Ainsi l'assistance Shopify refuse de gérer ce problème technique et je vais devoir désinstaller cette application car elle pénalise le référencement naturel de mon site. Très déçu par l'assistance de Shopify au vu du temps perdu et du prix payé chaque mois !

I am very satisfied. I reviewed the translations but there were few things to do and the app made me earn a lot of precious time. I would add that its is very easy to use and make changes.

Extremely efficient tool for multi language web, easy to compare with original language and adopt the alternative one! Great stuff!

It is an excellent translator once you learn it well.

The search field does not do a good enough job to find what you are looking for. but the rest works okay.

This app is terrible, it doesnt translate propely and takes old headline text from months ag 0/10 is what i would rank this app as

Spent hours translating my entire site only to find that the language does not automatically switch based on a visitor’s location. So my website is still very much single-language for everyone. What good is a translating app that doesn’t have geolocation? Checked all Help articles and the only geolocation app Shopify links to is no longer available in the App Store. So the Help articles are not even up to date. I then tried to contact support, but all I get is a chat widget with neverending three dots. A very frustrating experience. Hi there, you can automatically switch languages based on a buyer's preferences. Go to Settings --> Markets --> Preferences --> turn on Language redirection. We do recommend having a way for customers to manually select their language with a drop down in addition to this. If you're using any up to date theme from the Shopify theme store, this comes built into the theme.
