I qualify as one of those "Newbies" that I see and hear referenced so often on various E-commerce and Social Media Platforms. Even though I never particularly cared for the connotation of this designation (I felt it was a bit arrogant), I actually didn't realize the truth behind the term as it pertained to me; until some visitors to my Store shocked me by signing up for Email Marketing Correspondence. At first, I said Wow and did my Happy Dance. Then, the reality of having to respond to their interests kicked in. I thought, how am I supposed to handle this. Well, the answers to the question and my prayers were where they've been since I signed up with Shopify a few weeks ago. Voila, it's all about the APPs Baby! This dramatic introduction to my review was definitely for effect, not spin. I was and still am that helpless "Newbie" for now, but thanks to Omnisend I won't have to fear connecting with my Customers anymore. The APP was seamless to navigate. The instructions were easy to follow. The only reason the process was a little time consuming for me is that I'm fanatical about perfection, so I critiqued and tweaked the layout until I almost drove myself mad. However, I got the results I wanted and I'm forever grateful to the Omnisend Team for their intuitiveness with knowing that one day a "Newbie" like me, would need their expertise on my side. First of all, why in the world have I not been using Omnisend all these years and settling for Mailchimp? I'm actually glad this issue happened with Mailchimp & Shopify where I had to find something new, and Omnisend is absolutely brilliant... everything is so well designed, it literally hands you everything on a silver platter, you just need to plug and play at that point! If you are looking for something new, simple, user friendly, and not too techy, then Omnisend is the answer!

Im so glad that shopify and Mailchimp "broke up" ;D , if not for that i wouldn't have found Omnisend. The live view feature is amazing and cant wait to do some email campaigns and see the results. 5 stars !!

Very nice email platform. However, they do not have an integration for multiple stores, which means you need more subscriptions if you have multiple stores.

I just sent my first email campaign, and I really enjoyed all the features that Omnisend offers for campaigns in addition to other automations on the app. Looking forward to using it more!

It's really easy to use. The e-mail seems really pro and it's really good to work with this app. I advise everyone to use this for having grat and pro email to send to their customers. Thanks a lot

there is not free plan. Liars. Waisting my time. I will look for another app. I have 10 subscribers to my newsletter, do you really think I will pay 16$/mo ? Like 95% of shopify users I guess

Easy to use and very intuitive. This app has some nice features like the ability to "pick" products from your online store to add to your emails. Good alternative at a reasonable price.

Great tool, great service! Needs some minor fixing on the mobile optimization side, but otherwise it is amazing.

The app is super easy to use. The support staff is always super helpful and quick to respond! They listen to their customers and are including things I have asked about in future updates.

I used this app to replace MailChimp. The best qualities were that the set up was straightforward. no coding needed. I used a design template for my first email campaign, it was a breeze. Very impressed with Omnisend Email Marketing app.

I just switched to Omnisend from MailChimp. It was very easy to integrate with my store and to migrate over my contact list. I was also pleased with the ease of creating a campaign. The finished product looked very professional and directed traffic to specific products on my store very easily. So far I like the app.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We are (also) one of old the Mailchimp customers. After messing around with Shopsync for hours and not getting the results we wanted, we decided to move to a completely new platform. Omnisend came recommended by Shopify and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Subscriber lists with customer AND order information was transferred quickly and seamlessly. So happy we found an email marketing and automation platform that works!

Very easy first time experience, free trial is great, highly customizable interface. I would recommend it overall!

I could write a lengthy review about how bad Omnisend's technical support is, but I think everyone is well aware that they were totally unprepared for the number of people coming over from Mailchimp, and that their Eastern Europe based support is pretty darn horrible. We are currently giving Omnisend a 1 star review because one of the most important ( and most profitable) features of email automation is the Abandon Cart series of emails. Everyone needs to know, Omnisend's Automation email system currently does not work. We do not know if it is because their system is overloaded, their servers are blacklisted, or some other factor, but we know with 100% certainty that their automation system is broken. Before you dismiss this negative review as an outlier, please note that we are still with Omnisend and we are trying desperately to work with them to solve this. Here are the facts: Fact 1: Before we moved to Omnisend, we were sending ONE Abandon Cart email via Shopify's basic notification system. That one email was yielding a 26% conversion rate. The industry average is 7%. Fact 2: We took the EXACT same email that we used in Shopify and launched an abandon cart email series in Omnisend. The email currently yielding less than 1% conversion rate. The data does not lie. Something is horribly wrong. We believe it is something to do with how they have setup our domain and the various DKIM/SPF settings, but again, no one at Omnisend seems to know what to do to fix the issue. If you are a larger company or you have a large email list, and you want to send emails from your own domain (@yourcompany.com) be advised that you are going to have extremely poor performance from Omnisends Automation emails until they can fix their system.

My first time used this Omnisend on email marketing and I am impressed. Easy to use. Very Good for e-commerce business.

I was looking for a replacement for MailChimp and have been pleasantly surprised finding a more robust solution in Omnisend. It met my needs immediately and has several tools available as my business grows. The pricing structure was also a big reason for trying Omnisend. I am just starting with my online store so getting a marketing tool like Omnisend really helps a self-funded start up. Testing Omnisend with the 14 day free trial has given me the confidence that I've chosen the right email marketing solution. I'm looking forward to a long relationship with Omnisend.

Switched from Mailchimp right after the MC/Shopify breakup was announced. Very positive experience overall! The Mailchimp-to-Omnisend learning curve is an easy one, and in my opinion, Omnisend's email editing toolkit is both easier to use than Mailchimp's and equipped with better looking templates out of the box. Automations are easy to set up too, and Omnisend customer support is very responsive via chat. List management leaves a lot to be desired. I miss the sort and rating abilities in Mailchimp. That said, the team has told me they're working on building out list management capabilities.

amazingly smooth transition from our previous email marketing provider! nice and easy, lots of tools...was dreading the setup, but it really is SUPER easy and efficient- thanks!

We just started using this app to replace MailChimp. It was pretty easy for me to import everything from MailChimp with their available guidance. In just one day we have our customer lists, our email sign-up forms & landing page, abandoned cart email and a a campaign for people who never opened their last few campaigns to come back and get a discount. The automated discount code feature is simply amazing. Integrates easily with shopify. Easy to build campaigns or emails.

Making the switch from Mailchimp. Just created my first email in Omnisend and it was really easy and I'm very happy with the results. So far, so good!

Excellent and easy to use email marketing service and app. I have used Mailchimp and SendinBlue in the past and I like Omnisend better. As a website developer I have installed Omnisend to all my clients and for my own boompositive.com store of course. Highly recommend and I'm still on the free plan. But I'm sure their paid services work great as well. And I most likely change to paid plan in this summer! Good job!

I've used another provider for SIX years and always had little bugs and issues that were frustrating when building an EDM. My first EDM has just gone out via Omnisend and building it was SUCH a pleasure - no issues, on point templates... easy... I can't wait to see what the next few months bring!
