If I could give zero starts, I would. It's an amazing app, but they want to control your email domain and the way you email your clients. Not very versatile. They steel your money very easily with their automatic upgrades as well.

Clean interface and strong knowledgebase; have worked with other eDM solutions and this is my preference by far. I really appreciate the Free Plan being so functional while I build my list in order to grow a budget for a paid plan. Design-centric wise I like how much design clout it provides.

Its a great tool! make your life easy as soon as you create segment and export it to FB, it updates by itself, the only issue is that for me its not 5 stars yet, its that I cant integrate the segment/list to tiktok ad manager or twitter ad manager. I hope when that happen, I would like to be notify or at least be on the trial program.

Don't look anywhere else for customer outreach/ email marketing. Yes, it can be expensive depending on the size of your customer list but in most cases it is worth it. The integration with Shopify is very powerful. You can create highly targeted segments using any customer data from order history, to location to Shopify events such as viewed a certain product to target the exact people who want and tailor your campaigns for that audience. Also, they offer integrated SMS support and their drag and drop email editor is top notch.

Updated: 5/23 We have now been using Klaviyo for almost 4 years and we would still give them 5 stars. It is the best marketing investment we make every month. I do feel and understand the frustration with their support. Fortunately, we have not had much need to contact them. In our 4 years, we have only had to use technical support once and we were able to get the issue resolved in less than an hour. I do wish they had a "real time" support option beyond chat. When you have a problem, you want to get an answer asap, not have to guess as to when you might hear from them. We migrated to Klaviyo after the Shopify-Mailchimp dust-up last spring. We have been using Klaviyo for 15 months now and we are very happy with the app. While a bit pricier then some out there, we have found the campaign and flow tools to pay for themselves very quickly. In the past 12 months, Klaviyo campaigns and flows have delivered $21K (about 20% of total rev) in sales to our store -- and we don't even run a campaign every month. We made the investment to attend Klaviyo:BOS last fall, their user conference. One of the best user conferences out there, in our opinion. We learned a ton from Klaviyo and many other Shopify store owners.

I moved from MailChimp to Klaviyo two years ago and have only regretted not doing it sooner. Klaviyo has better functionality, easier to use tools right out of the box, great ways to save and re-use content blocks, and super easy automated email drip tools. If you're on the fence or even set on something else, you must consider Klaviyo. It'll change how you feel about your email (and SMS) marketing.

Thought it was good until the experience was bad. I began using this app a while back, everything was going smooth, for the most part. I was able to make Sign-up Forms and create Email Flows. The Worst Part. I went on to make a new Shopify store, integrate Klaviyo, created a new account, and made a couple of emails using their templates. All of a sudden, I get logged out, tried logging in, "Your account is inactive". Now, when this happens there is nothing you can do other than create a new account. To contact support. In order to remotely talk to anyone on there, you need to buy their subscription ($20 minimum) before you can even bother to ask for help. Their "Live Support" isn't even real people, it's just some virtual robot that can't even help you other than recommend useless articles that are a complete waste of time. And then in addition, they take forever to email you back so God forbid you had something immediate you needed help with. Overall, this company is a 0/10. If I could go below a 1 star, I definitely would, that's how terrible they are, honestly. It's already enough of a headache running a business and the last thing you want to have is a company that isn't willing to help unless you're a paying customer, nor take constructive criticism/ feedback on how they can improve. Look for a better company that is willing to help you when you need it, not leave you in the shadow. Whoever's reading this, have a wonderful day, stay safe, and keep growing as a person!

Useless app. I was completing my setup and all of a sudden I was logged out of my account and now I can`t log in and the error message says (This account is inactive). What is that? And you can`t get support by using any normal method, first you have to log in to your account, which in my case is not possible.

I signed up-to there $20 a month program then made a few campaigns, then all of a sudden got logged out of my account and its says my account in inactive and cant log back in.....what a joke would no recommend and yes i cant log into my account so cant get support.

Klaviyo is full of bugs. For instance, their default email preferences update does not display the current selections of the user. When I reported this to customer support, they insisted that this was not a bug at all but rather an enhancement request. Insane! I then discovered on my own that Klaviyo allows you to create your own email preferences page, but as they explicitly say, they offer no support for it, you are on your own. After struggling on my own I got it working, only to then realize that this page is only HTTP and insecure. So I spent a day figuring out some clever workarounds to solve this but then another bug has now crashed this feature completely. I am stuck waiting until tomorrow when customer support chat is available again to fix this. Email support autoreply tells me to expect to wait 48 hours. This is just one of at least half a dozen bugs I've encountered, each of which cost me days of work to find workarounds on my own. Customer support chat can go four days in a row without being available due to maintenance overlapping with the weekend. FOUR DAYS!!! When customer support chat is down for maintenance, there is no prior warning or current alert when you try to use it. It is just greyed out for no apparent reason. When this first happened to me, I wasted an hour trying to figure that out before giving up and switching to email support. The only reason I don't totally regret picking Klaviyo is I suppose other platforms could be worse or have their own set of issues. If you like frustration, you will love Klaviyo. UPDATE: I am leaving at 2 stars because when Klaviyo works, it does the trick. But I am back to spending days getting their preferences pages working. After 18 months, it spontaneously broke and I am back to this nightmare. Klaviyo support has given up solving their bug and has asked me to use Cloudflare community postings for help in solving this.

Changed my plan from Free to $20 per month used 1200 emails out of my 5000 monthly limit went to send and email campaign with 550 email addresses got a message saying upgrade plan to $30 you have exceeded your profile limit. What is this? Totally confusing just cancelled my plan. Not very happy.

Definitely the "gold standard" in e-mail marketing. Klaviyo's automation is top-tier -- it's quite intensive and a little intimidating at first, but the growth team's superb webinars and extensive help resources make it easy to master. Highly recommend Klaviyo!

I have to say I’m not impressed with the customer service. I have had to explain the same issue several times. I sent pictures and a video clip showing my issue and it has still not being resolved. Instead I keep getting people sending me videos of how the same thing. I don’t think I’ll will be moving forward with this app. And I have wasted a lot time trying to set up flows
